For what it's worth, my “cheat” is to have my own lantern (https://www.ttlg.com/forums/showthread.php?t=150945) (here) in Thief 2 games. However right from the start I saw that this mission blocked it in some way. Of course I got one later courtesy of The Lady of the Woods. But the one I normally have is 4 side-ed and (lit or not) I often have it showing in the Right hand corner because when it stops turning and shrinks in size then something frobbable is nearby even if I can’t see it. So in this mission I had to use a carrot, cucumber, or round cheese with segment missing that catches the eye when it stops turning and shrinks. The mission lantern is OK but not as effective. My excuse is I have poor eyesight. :tsktsk:

So it looks like 115 unaccounted for in total across both sections.

EDIT:
In section 2 there's a bottle of wine (50) in the pub to the Right of the chimney breast, under a bookcase
OR if you’ve just set next-door on fire which has spread in here, then it’s on the floor with nothing hiding it.

EDIT:
The technique of setting fire to a room has again disclosed loot (after the fire died down).
This time a coin (5) which I would never have seen even though it was in plain sight.
So 60 unaccounted for across both sections.

And still they come:
Every day I return to this mission and search a bit more.
Another 40 found in part 2, on a guard I had previously knocked out and carried.
Taking into account the 40 I belatedly found in part 1 (thanks to csamba)
means 20 short of max in whole mission (on easiest difficulty).

Well that was fun
4 hours & 40 minutes on expert - I was sightseeing I like looking round & this was beautiful :cheeky:, 4431 loot & somehow 4 secrets that i have no idea about as I don't remember seeing any notifications

I missed a ton of stuff at the beginning as I found the warehouse early on but that just means a replay :cheeky:

For a first mission I am deeply impressed & not a little jealous that was a lot of work, well done & thank you

I think as you come into that room, the switch/levers 1,2 and 4 (from Left to Right) have to be moved and then the High Voltage panel opens to reveal switch 3. Which admittedly you can't see until then. :D

I can't find a rope arrow in the museum. I've opened a grate in the room with the painting. I've found a scroll and a vial of holy water Maestro difficulty.

I haven't played the latest version, perhaps that unused balcony has been removed by Kubrick
