Fraser--
The landlord appears in the Coronet tavern to the northwest after you find the usurer killed and rob Timms; he has the key to the apartments in the south. Lots of loot in there, too.
Some lucrative loot caches you may have missed:
The Pawn Shop: the key to this place is under the usurer's desk. His closed shop is on the ground floor, and has a tapestry and golden candlesticks
The Panpipes Pub, near the sorceror's tower: gold plate on beams, climb down to death statue from attic
Apartment of lewd literature with a diadem: bridge over slope near mission start -- jump across to iron roof, up to a balcony and enter the windows
Seeing Square: a large columned dome with four statues. You can access this from several directions through the power station - most easily from the stream near the Usurer's. Jump across to the Keeper statue, and follow the route all the way up to PROFIT.
Hope this helps.

Thank you -- but I don't know where any of these places ARE. I don't know how to find Timm's place. I am unabe to follow the map. The streets are named on the map, but I can't find signs on the actual streets. I often have no idea which building I'm in until I find a key that says, for example, "Usurer's Key." I even got frustrated enough trying to get into one place that I violated my decade-long "no kill" policy for humans.

I have a walkthrough I wrote for this that might help you get sorted out. It's a bit rough but usable. If you want it, just email me and I'll forward it on.

Thanks for the offer -- but I ran through the entire level one more time and came acros the two keys I needed. I even managed to find the way out, and ended up only about 400 short on loot.
Good mission. I loved all the climbing. I'm up for any mission that involves mandatory rope climbing.

I'm glad you got sorted out. It's much more fun to figure it out for yourself if you can and this is a top-notch mission for exploring. I was pretty lost at first but thoroughly enjoyed it anyway. :cheeky:

I don't mind being lost for a few hours, but after a while...you just want to move forward, you know? Just for something to do I went around sniping at the guards for a while, then reloaded and wandered around a bit until I found the landlord's key, and then Timm's key, and after that it was just a question of trying all the locked doors I could remember.
I never did work out what the glyphs were for, though. Must be someplace I didn't get to. Probably somewhere up top, given the stucture of the mission. I read earlier on this thread that people have a way of stacking boxes, but I've never been able to work that out.

...to have obtained in the Keywell area the fire arrow from the brazier high up on the left (which is actually TEN fire arrows) and read the message "How did you get up here?" :ebil: :cheeky: And with the use of only six crates. Of course, I got into the abandoned Keeper domain and found the "approx. 800" loot and the note.
Melan, what a fantastic mission this was! Love the climbing and nooks and crannies, and the (almost) non-existent undead... :) More, please! :) :thumb:
Edited: What a surprise, not the first! :) I didn't read the entire thread, I just did searches on the thread for key phrases that would prove what was up there (like the stuff above I have in spoilers). Of course, pictures prove it too... I did it a much different way, tho, from the same starting place... kudos to Gillie and Klatremus! If I post any pictures, they'll look a bit different, since I played the "Winter" version.
That different way I did it was more of a looping-around way from there, using the crenellated wall above then over to the pointy tower that shows in Gillie's last pic in the block of four pics from his post of 03/03/08.
I finished with only 97 short of total loot. I'll check the loot list very soon to see what I missed.

I loved this mission too! :D And rewards for climbing and searching is even better, although I don't use many fire arrows when I play. What's this about a "winter version"?

This should show you easily:

Unless something changes soon on that site, that'll put the Bad Debts entry right at the top of the page... OK, found the
17 worth of coins on the sill across from the tower with windows bricked up / down below the Hammerite passages above leading to the donation chute. Oh, and that's your lootlist there, Klatremus (at above link)! Looks like the
"approx. 800" loot only adds up to 484.

Hey thanks, I thought it was more of a winter version with snow and all...LOL Would've been cool though.
Yeah I make loot lists for basically every mission I play. Check my site for regular updates. Enjoy! :D
