Melan, do you have or can you produce a personal loot list for your Winter Version? I ended up with 3677 loot, just a "nickel" short of total, and I can't find anything that jives with Klatremus' list. I've gone back and checked all (I think all) of the places where there is a least one nickel increment involved. Can't find it. Grrrroovy! :) Klat, is there anything less obvious in your list involving a nickel? Maybe the answer is there, or maybe Melan made a slight alteration in the loot makeup in the W.V....??

Have you tried:
- Coins under table of guards' quarters at Stoll Court (two coins, worth 5 each)
- Lucky coins in fountain by grocery store north on Dog's run (three coin pairs, worth 5 each)
- Usurer's guards' quarters, 2 copper stacks (worth 5 each)
- 3 coin pairs in shelterhome up ladder NE in Lower Locks (worth 5 each)
- 2 coin pairs in tray by statue in west Lower Locks (worth 5 each)
- Copper coin stack on windowsill north of Gloom court (worth 5)
This is everything worth 5 in the non-winter version.
Glad I can help! :D

Have you heard (of) this song? I thought of its title during this mission when I encountered that which made me think of it...and realized that it didn't seem apt or apropos since what I was experiencing didn't jive with its title...! Thanks, Klatremus!!
I guess I didn't notice the "x 3" in between the identical entries above and below in the lootlist when I looked... now, this isn't giving too much away by not using any spoiler tags, is it?? :laff: :tsktsk: Just a minor loot thingie...

The "Winter" version (compiled at the insistence of Winter Cat) differs from the regular only inasmuch as it does not use the updated objects from the (pre-release) Enhancement Pack. Actually, with the EP out, people should just play that whether they prefer the updated or non-updated look.
Glad you liked my mission, crowemagnon, and I'd be curious to see how you got up there with only six crates. :) My next mission,
Disorientation should come out in the first half of 2009 -- that features more rooftopping than Bad Debts, several exciting opportunities to climb out of the playing space and crash the game horribly, and looks better to boot (if you like textures imported from TDP). I posted screenshots (

That, and you can also play
Unbidden Guest from the Classic Thief Experience contest, which I also built - although that's more restricted than
Bad Debts due to contest space limitations. :)

Pretty much self-explanatory via the pictures, but I'll add some brief comments in-between here and there. Sorry, I don't know how to make 'em clickable thumbnails:

OK, here's where I jump from the pointy red roof to the wavy blue roof. Many times, me fall and go boom... :) But when you successfully jump across, you'll no doubt get stuck on the roof's edge, unable to mantle up. That's when you ever so slightly back up, then immediately try mantling; repeat those two until you're up (or you fall backwards and have to try again). Only one time did I make the jump and mantle up smoothly without sticking at all.

You can put out the fire, but it still burns... Hey, I'll use that in a song...!

Clever! :thumb:
(When I added that location, I had no idea how to get up there, but figured the taffers at TTLG would surprise me. Well... :laff:)

^^^^^^^^^^
i just made it up there, on my third try at this mission. I stacked 12 crates, tried the same jump 20 times, and finally nailed it.
I had been thinking of this mission for months, and decided to replay it, mostly so I could reach this one damned "WHY IS THIS EVEN IN HERE?!@!?!11!" location.
I found a couple of pieces of loot that I never found before, reached a couple of places that I shouldn't have, and died in netherworlds that I'm sure were not intended to be reached. Incredibly fun mission all around.:thumb:

Playing this mission for the first time, for the TIS project. It has been quite a load of fun!
I do have a question though, even though I have been there already, I can't seem to remember how to get to the Keywell area.:erg:

Do you remember the passages in the sewers with the crates and the mines?

And to get to the place Tannar is referring to, you need to follow one of the upper passages (those that start from platforms with statue) in Seeing Square.
