An idle question to ask. I am at the plaque that says "Bow Upgrade Here". I have played this FM several times, and still don't know what that is for. Is it an upgrade in my skills? Would someone please enlighten me?

Progressing but completely disoriented in this one so I don't know if I'm getting nearer or further away! I seem to be at a dead end after a long sequence to reach here.
There is a pub but just before it these angle beams. It looks easy to climb up but I cannot get the mantle to complete. Is it possible to mantle up at the top of those angle beams? (http://www.fidcal.com/TEMP/badDebts01.jpg)

Yes, it's possible. What helped me is not to stand as close as possible, but back away just a little, and then try to mantle.

I think you can run and jump onto the beam as well.

The beams are mantleable, but it is very hard to. To get up there, enter the pub, look for a way to the attic, then walk across a beam to the ledge surrounding the tower. Also... two secrets are about.

Thanks - yes, I found that route on the way back!
Those angled stone beam mantles actually seem easy now - using the stand back method did it. This is one crazy mission. :thumb:
