In the
Mechanist building look for
two generators you can
climb in between.
Thanks Dahenjo.
I'd tried the
vent at the end but didn't bother with the
middle one. I was too impatient.

I missed it too for a long time, also needed Nightwalker's clue to finish an objective.
The intro mission was adapted from Lady R's 'Home Sweet Home' .. dunno if others noticed that.
Thanks to the author for some fun & challenging taffing!

Where is the key (keys?) for the Hammer area? I've already been through the undead/temple area, but still can't get into the priest's rooms or the locked jail cell

No, I'd never do anything like that! It's definitely taken from one of the OMs, but I don't remember anymore which one exactly since I worked on that mini campaign for about 9 years (bit by bit of course just when I had enough time for DromEd).
Prize question: Who remembers that OM? :D
fortuni on 3/2/2022 at 11:43
IIRC Home Sweet Home was based on one of the OM's, so that would explain the similarity of the intro between these 2 missions.
Dahenjo on 3/2/2022 at 12:00
Oh sorry, Zappenduster, I didn't realize it's from an OM that Lady R also adapted, and remembered hers from doing a playthrough for it. It wouldn't bother me if it was taken from hers and I took it as a reference or tribute to her work. I don't play the OMs very much anymore so have forgotten which one it may be from.

BTW, entering the hole as a 2nd entry should pose no problem since you should have at least one slowfall potion and enough moss arrows.
Speaking about slowfall potion - why does it rotate when dropped on ground?

I do, of course.
The OM that most likely inspired you is
"Ambush!" ("Hinterhalt!" in German), where Garrett is ambushed while being in a pub. He then has to cross the whole map to reach his own apartment and get his hidden gear back. The same map was again used in
"Trace the Courier" ("Botengang" in German) , but I do not know how much of Garrett's apartment was still present there. Anyway, this apartment had, among other things, a secret compartment accessible with a wall hook serving as a secret switch, and that was what the intro mission of "Double-crossed" as well as Lady Rowena's "Home Sweet Home" used as an inspiration.

Where is the key (keys?) for
the Hammer area?I do not remember how many keys were used in that area, but the one that most likely eludes you is the
abbott's master key. I am not certain whether there is a good clue for it in any of the other languages than German, but let's try this hint:
There should be a letter, close to a dead Hammerite AFAIK, that mentions the abbott's interest in the large statue in one of the cloister's courtyards. You won't find the key on the statue, but maybe you should thoroughly search the courtyard. Most likely, you will be surprised how elusive that key is despite being almost completely in the open.

The key Baeuchlein and Swiz are talking about is the Monastery key in the English version, not the Abbot's master key (German version).
Talking about slowfall potions, I adored the joke with the slowfall potion in the inventor's shop in the mall, floating above the shelf in the bookcase, being a few centimetres below the top shelf, apparently very slowly falling down.

OK, I'm almost done. Just need to get my loot up from
2900. Someone mentioned the
Hammer chalice. What is that about?
