:erm: Well Sly as I said earlier...too late to try and use guards as they are all sleeping or dead :( I did get Fletcher and don't know if this was legal but it worked, LOL
My first rope was basically over the right side of one shutter and though he did see me I just either scampered up or reshut window so he lost me..then I tossed my last gas mine inside which didn't go exactly where I wanted it but good enough...landed on dresser. Then when he got close again out he went. I then tried to get through window to get him but angle wouldn't let me. So I got down and reshot more in the middle. When I got back up and thought I'd get through window, instead I was able to highlight him and grab him :D Then carried him to one of the apts. where I entered and slashed him but funny was while doing this, he said "oh stop that, stop that" each time I took a swipe :D
By the way, your credits read was cute and really nice to put your helpers names into the game :)
Well I have 9 water arrows, 3 fire arrows, 2 mines, 3 flash bombs and 2 froggies...hope these will get me thru. I have key and already unlocked that door before so that's how I knew what was in there...and I've already picked the door to hall down to spider area where I'm now trying to get back to as that seems to be the easiest way now. I did do what you said about other way in originally and worked pretty good so that I got into that bunk room for hiding and eventually the fight I encountered while in there. I hope with the slant and using my "speed potion" plus my invis will get me out safely? I did find the two grapes so that will help some :) Thanks all for trying to help! Ta and Good Hunting!
UPDATE: Mission Completed!!! YEA :D
My secret to success...well first time I screwed up some and got myself killed but on second try and setup it worked out just fine happy to say. First covered area and hallway down to spider area...put out three torches in area...placed my two froggies in other hallway not to far away and put one mine down in middle of room. Opened their door...shot arrow down that hallway...they came out but unfortuately the mine blast relit one torch..DOH LOL So then they proceeded to go back inside and at that point I put out torch again. Then shot another arrow down hallway...all undeads came out but Haunt stayed inside this time. As undeads went down hall to investigate, I made my way over to doorway and shot that torch out in corner and made my way in with sword in hand which the Haunt just started to try and see, so I managed to kill him with little damage to me and shut the door. Frantically going thru items to find key to lock door again...mmmboy but finally got it done in time. Got the goods, shot the other torch out inside, got key to open door and invis on the ready. Opened door, swallowed invis and made my dash down hall to spider exit! Whew!!!
So all in all it turned out just fine and it'll be a few minutes more before I stop shaking..ha ha! I just dread undeads and the like...never have gotten used to playing with them. Yet I play a game like "Undying" and thought it was great...go figure!
I'm not an every penny player but did manage $4370 for my troubles with one backstab and 12 KO's and a few kills that I mentioned earlier...so all in all I had a pretty good time and look forward to your sequel. Ta and Good Hunting!

Was that a little Babylon 5 reference in the seer's shop? :cheeky: :thumb:

@ jack...
Yep! My fave show of all time.

LOL! :laff:
I just tried this mission and I couldn't stop laughing when I saw the objectives!
"Kill Fletcher. (It's not required that you kill Tomi but please feel free to do so if you are so inclined.)"
And looks like I'm a "ruthless legbreaker for one of the local Warden"!! :p
Excellent job Sly, that's a nice mission. :thumb:

Yes, killing Tomi is a must! Muhahaha! :ebil:
SlyFoxx on 21/6/2004 at 13:45
I thought you might get a kick out of that. :p I needed a forum taffer who had a "regular" name to be 'ol Fletcher's partner in crime.
Hey...at least you don't/didn't have an unpaid bar tab unlike some taffers around here.
I still await payment from some of you people. ;)

Thank you for this great mission. I had so much fun playing it!
I even found a "big" piece of loot, that's not mentioned on Nens very helpful lootlist (thanks to you too!):
a ring upstairs in the house opposite fletcher's
Like the others I'm eagerly waiting for the sequel now! :thumb:

I've only just started this FM, but watching the briefing alone warrants a comment! Color me stunned... Sly, you have really honed your Garrett impression to perfection! I am one of the picky ones, as you know, but from beginning to end of that briefing, I had the eerie sensation that I was listening to either Stephen Russell or at least a very close relative! The acting, the cadence, the sound, the tone, the grit level, the what-have-you... simply tremendous. Spot-on.
I am rendered speechless. What a fine performance! If I heard you and Russell each read the same line, I doubt if I could tell the two apart!

Sly bows low, honored by Wynne's gracious words.
Why thank you m'lady. But I must also give kudos to my partner in crime, Lazarus. I said I wanted a briefing in the classic T1 style and he certainly delivered the visuals that help cement the whole thing.
Now if only the mission were as good as the AVI. :o :cheeky:
@snowcap21....THANKS FOR FINDING THAT!!!....Now I'm only 100 short of knowing where all the loot is. It's pretty bad when the designer can't find all the loot.
:sly:
edit: had not let the morning coffee take full effect before posting.

Well, my hat's off to the two of you for a fine briefing! :)
I liked the mission, too--it was a very nice first effort, and I hope we'll see more from you in the future. The only thing that made me growl was not being able to mantle in places where I should have been able to mantle. But I loved the design and look of Garrett's home, the blue windows with the lights, the fountain, and those crazy zombie misfits who just would NOT die despite me throwing out my entire arsenal at them. There were some cleverly concealed secrets and passages, and the design of the areas was crafty, also. Well done!
