:) Thanks for the replies guys and guess
I'll need to use BJ on Tomi and do my rope trick...however, I'm not very convienced about "treasure" room business  LOL But putting out torches seems a good start...no noisemaker I've ever seen/gotten but maybe regular arrow might work? All guards aleady out of business and no way to redo at this point in time/game! So I guess it will have to be try and try again till hopefully I can get it done?
:D Ta and Good Hunting!

it might have been a regular arrow, i cant remember.
id put out the torches in the treasure room too while youre in there, if you can spare the water arrows.
i dont know if this counts as a bug or not
but i found that not thief nor undead could follow back through the passageway :ebil:

I made it in and out by simply running and dodging. Turned left after I got out and kept going.
RE: The treasure room and the nasties inside.
The Haunt is basicly a normal Haunt and can be taken out with relative ease. The zombies have been pumped to the point of near invinsibility. There is a bit of a clue in the 2nd's room where he states something like "I've never seen anything of their ilk before."
The best way to deal with the whole thieves area is to
1) sneek in the "front door" via the warehouse area.
2) put a moss arrow straight down the hole.
3) climb down and jump into the tiny shadow right next to the thief there. I never had him see me....it's close but safe.
4) BJ the thief and carry him back up the ladder....probably not necessary but keeping with the tradition of stashing bodies.
5) Break into the 2nd's room and get the key for the treasure room. I also get all the loot in the bunk room and steal all the loot from Boss Manders while leaving him alive and awake. Don't wack anybody else.
Putting down 4-6 moss arrows really makes things easy here. Leave the rest of the floor moss free for an extra challenge.
6) leave via the "front door"
7) Go back around to the back door by the treasure room and pick the lock. be careful you don't alert either thief that patrols that area.
8) When the coast is clear open the door to the treasure room from as far away as possible and then duck back as quick as you can into the shadows on the ramp.
9) Wait and let the zombies and haunt do your dirty work. Usually the haunt get killed quickly and most of the thieves as well. This just leaves a zombie or two to avoid. They are VERY tough to kill but easy enough to avoid. Another hint that the zombies are not "normal" is one of their voices. I changed the voice schema of at least one of them to that of an apparition.

SlyFoxx, any hints on where is rest of the loot? Atleast rest but those 200 that even you can't find?

Hi Maloo,
i searched every bed (I think). What bed do you mean?
maloo on 3/6/2004 at 15:30
In the thieves quarters there is a room with bunkbeds and there is a small room right off it with water arrows and holy water, duck down near the table and look at the head of the bed there will be a book and a key
EDIT: Maloo posted while I was writing so deleted answer.
Btw, anyone knows how to make good screenshots out of Thief 2 and FMs for it? PrintScreen and pasting in Photoshop doesn't work for me, and when tried with some programs (SnagIt, Fraps, in game button) I get hugely darkened screens. Almost nothing I can see there...but in game all is well.

@Nens
305 short. Not bad taffer. :)
Humm...the 5 you seek is probably on the green brick ledge to the right of the back door to the Crippled Burrick....the 100 is probably a purse. I couldn't read you loot list but the most well hidden lone purse is under some crates in the bakery next to the watch office.
Nens on 3/6/2004 at 18:04
Heh, found those two. There's no FM where I don't move crates searching for loot. ;)
I made html page with list. Hopefully you can see that.
