Just ghosted it on expert, short 220 loot. Took me around 1 hour to complete.
It was a very fun and enjoyable FM, especially considering it's your first one !
Second floor was very challenging to ghost because of patrols, other parts were pretty OK.
Good stuff :
- The Apple thing of course. Very fun, even if I thought it would be some optionnal quest
- The house in itself has an interesting level design. The dumbwaiter not being a route as often in FMs is pretty clever.
- Readables are well written
Things that may be improved :
- The outside and basement part are so empty and large for nothing. It felt a bit like a 2005 FM on that point. I suggest making places smaller or adding details
- The Apple Key location doesn't really make sense as said by other members before. However, finding this item in such a manner is very smart.
- Same bugs as others with bugged lady on top floor, standing still close to the dumbwaiter
In a word, it's a very solid first mission, I'd love to play more of your stuff in the future ! Thanks for the release :)

Too bad that getting past the "dragon" banner busts ghost mode...
Even discounting that, my blind Supreme run was ruined for me by the lady stuck by the dumbwaiter (commented when opening the hatch - given her stuck position, reaching the necessary Gallery Key was not possible otherwise, e.g. after completing the "apples" puzzle).
Two of the eight statues on the second upper floor are out-of-reach for Supreme, since they are in plain sight of the blue-dressed noblewomen, in a very bright area.
How many Socialites are there? Or who was the nobleman sitting on their balcony? :)
For ghosting difficulty, I appreciated the long and tense lockpick in the hallway, I needed three turns... (probably doable in two).
Thanks for release!

I remembered enjoying the feeling of
hiding in the dumbwaiter to steal something in Running Interference. Dumbwaiters as elevators are cool, but with how small the house was I felt like the restrictions in that mission worked well.I have a patch coming soon that re-adds a
generic Top Floor Key so Decress doesn't have to climb through the window anymore hahaha. I'm also planning another mission, but it'll be a larger one and won't be for a bit. I'll be able to take my time more with this one, so no more
dull, empty spaces :thumb:.Quote Posted by ultravioletu

The patch should also fix
Decress getting stuck on the table and AIs disliking the stairs.
For the Socialites, the
key name is referring to Archibald, the sleeping man. The other 2 in his room are guests that he brought along, though they're also socialites from the same scenes. I don't think the
Scholar would be considered a socialite with how reserved she is, but Decress and likely her lady-friend would also be socialites. It's a packed house hahaha.

Cool, thanks!
The noblewoman in Archibald's room too tends to get stuck - I experienced it both ways: patrolling in my blind run, behind the armchair today, in my second run (which was supposed to be the official" one for my ghost report; her being stationed there "earned" me two additional first remarks while going for her purse).
It's s packed house, indeed. And guards are very sensitive (esp. to door openings, or even to key drops) so that, for supreme ghosting, it is challenging enough (even though on the easier side). Given that I am myself on a summer vacation trip, it felt very appropriate :) - light and refreshing).

Update, there's now an update!
Version 1.1 (hopefully) fixes a lot of the AI inconsistencies, as well as adding a couple extra bits. I massively appreciate the feedback you all have given!

Really awesome FM, especially for a first one! Cleared on expert with full blackjackery, missing about 100 loot. Great extra objective, good loot target, I didn't test without knockouts but suspect it would be a fun, fair challenge.
Especially strong points:
1. The player is pretty naturally drawn through the map by visible objects and access points, moving from bottom to top.
2. The
rooftop garden is fantastic, especially the fireflies. What an incredible reveal!
3. Several architectural elements blend seamlessly well with gameplay, especially the
blockage on the upper floors of the dumbwaiter. The
wall of night and ground floor rimlit corridor were also very cool. I would love to see these features, and 2 above, used in other FMs. They're really, really good.
4. Readables were all excellent. The map was similarly very well executed, fitting in well with the mission's framing narrative: inaccurate in ways that don't impede utility.
Possible issues:
1. I had
three or so female NPCs in what appeared to be glitched, stationary positions, all on the upper floors - in particular, one was standing more or less
in the dumbwaiter. This is the only substantive issue in the FM!
2. A red book in the library had a misspelling: "deity" is correct.
3. I struggled to spot
the key of nature, which is perhaps too far from the edge of the shelter, or too recessed into the ceiling. Check with others; I play with very low gamma, which makes spotting this sort of thing harder.4. The a
pple key is a bit illogical, in that it unlocks the top floor; the Lady has no way to get up unless she's climbing the roof! I might suggest having a separate top floor key hanging by the door in the stairwell.5. If the
scrolls in the desk trashbin are meant to be readable, they are not. I have some lingering questions about the whole apple riddle situation that might be answered by those.Really cool first FM, I hope you'll create more of them!
I was able to get into the
upper floor through the dumbwaiter, then I noticed I could get out or in through the open window on the ceiling. That made needing a key unnecessary. :)

Thank you, I appreciate all the help with testing!
I have a plan for a second mission, likely a much larger medieval themed one. It'll be a while before that's put together, but I can keep you posted!
