I found Scott on the internet. Hi Scott, I mean SlyFoxx.
edit: pretty damn coincidental at that.
I know a guy irl. He's a Thief nut, like I am with Tribes. He's been playing since Thief1 just like I've been playing since Tribes1. I know he's done voice-overs and fan missions. I know he's active in the online Thief community.
I'm a Thief nub. I played no Thief1, very little Thief2, and recently started playing Thief3 out of boredom and I'm enjoying it greatly. I had some issues with the game, was stuck, googled, and found this forum and the answers I needed (ty), and low and behold I find Scottay on the day of releasing his latest FM. Grats SlyFoxx.

Vinny,

I had trouble finding that key too.

All right ! That was lot of fun :) Lots of roof jumping (opportunities to go "splat" ) :laff: and great ambience. I really liked the different surface texturing , not just the artwork (bricks, mossy stones, etc) but the way that the player changes levels. Stairs, hills... stuff like that. Great work :thumb:
Did anyone else
do something ... incriminating
:ebil:

Finished approximately 600 short of loot. A very enthralling and exciting mission :thumb: :thumb:. Along with that, I finished it within a day, something I'm rarely able to do. Thanks, Sly.

I think he saw more potential in the map than I did at times.
Thanks for the compliments, Sly.:)
Perhaps I did. Sometimes the creator is too close to his own work. Anyway, my initial reaction to this mission was that it has superb architecture and a lot happening in a relatively small space. I really like the alternative vertical pathways. There are many ways to get from point A to point B, some of which solve various ghosting problems. The uneven streets are a good example of the craftsmanship that went into this map. Most FM developers would simply make square cuts and texture them. The colored lighting and the sound are excellent, too. So, without any story and game play at all, the map is really fun to explore. With the whole package in place, you have a work of art. :)

Thank you,
Very nice colorful atmosphere and plot to go with it.
I was missing the key in my inventory for the secret hideout.
The zombies were really pissed when I looted their resting place.
All the more reason to lure a few gaurds in their direction.
Excellent adventure S. F.
"Unfinished Business" has a kaleidoscope of imbedded background colors!
Awesome to traverse the artistic playing field.
