Non-physical barrels or crates: I like them non-physical, I hate when Garrett can't get around things like that - especially coffee tables and chairs. It drives me up the wall.
You could always reduce the physical dimensions of the objects in question (but leave the visual dimensions alone). That way, they will still have some substance without obstructing tight spaces, especially if they are unmovable objects.

But is anyone else having fairly choppy gameplay?
In fact, I didn't. So ttthhhhppppttt.... :cheeky:
It uses some pretty long sound samples. (I had one very slight hiccup outside Corrado's, because of the Victrola music.) But poly-wise it's clean as a whistle. And hardly any fancy object models. In fact, this mission was so crying out for NV's object enhancement pack, I had to install it in my FM directory. (I usually don't use it because the new objects look out-of-place next to old textures.)
(Speaking of models, will someone
please fix the helmetted copper with the holes in his head.)

It makes me feel like I've been up all night playing fan missions even if I just started.
You say that like it doesn't happen anyway. :erm:

Also in the dorway at Captain Benoit's doorway, if you stand in it just right the screen "splits in half" and the textures kind of blur across the screen, as if you're in a space with no textures... maybe a small untextured space exists there or something...
This is a Dark Engine bug. It can sometimes be avoided by adjusting the position of the door. But it's not a design flaw.
I'm pretty sure I've seen weapons sharing a slot. Was it in Inverted Manse?
Only major complaint is the loot wasn't that well hidden. I got all of it without hardly trying. (Had to break ghost to get the coins in the fountain, too.)
Is it this small by design, technical limitations, or you just got sick of Dromed?

. . .A little of B and C, mostly C. Frankly I can't even look at this FM any more - I don't know how the rest of you finish those epic missions - :laff:
This was originally supposed to be one mission but I had to split it in 2 due to the object limit. Which is fine really - it just means part 2 can be more in depth.

Some of us don't. ;) My mission is still lying on the hard drive. :erg:

A curiosity: using a normal mine it is possible to open the door behind the rubbles, before to have completed objectives. ;)

I hope by 'in depth' you mean a longer mission. I really enjoyed sneaking through this one.
Please.
Thank you.

this mission is brilliant ! i really love the sound of the floorboards (very realistic), the clockwork mice and water fountain but what i like about this fm the most is the gothic, victorian atmosphere (with its green-tinged lighting, huge archways and the wrought-iron fences). an original, atmospheric fm. well done, sliptip :thumb:!

Hrmm... It didn't look like you had that many objects. I guess they're all in part 2.
Now the brush limit, I can see that being a problem. Those wedges really add up.
Say, do you use metabrush or anything like that?
And a NewSky and/or fogging tutorial would be a nice addition to the Dromesday Book. ;)
Yeah, and I just noticed it's in the Enhancement Pack as well. Saw that while attempting a "silent project". Until I detonated my own mine while luring out a combat bot. :p

Whoops, I meant the brush limit!
