Great mission Sliptip.
I think I'm missing something but,
Where is the keeper portrait in Corrado's?
Sliptip on 3/12/2006 at 19:14
It's in:
the smuggler area with a bunch of other paintings. You can get in either by going through a secret door in Corrado's office or you can enter through the sewer
I'm guessing the
Secret door is the bookshelf? How do you open it? I saw the smuggler through the sewers, but the gates are closed.
Edit: Found it. Thanks Sliptip! Excellent mission!

Kevlar :
There's a secret switch in the water just past the 3rd gate by the grate texture or alternatively there's a switch in Corrado's office on the wall the bookcase is on. It's on the top shelf where all the trinkets are - good luck!
I knew it once, but then I forgot... how do people get these pictures in the game that they then post and wow us with their thiefy skills?

There is a screenshot function implemented into the game. Take a look into the key bindings to find out how to activate it. Commonly it is ALT-F10, sometimes simply F10 but that depends on your settings. Don't forget to lighten up the image by using programs like Paint Shop Pro, Photoshop, Gimp or IrfanView.

Not sure if I like the FM or not, but is it my understanding that you have to enter 3 different codes to open each of the vault doors? Sounds like a lot of backtracking to me.

Your explorations should've easily netted you 2 of the 3 codes for the vaults in more or less obvious locations, before you ever reach the secure building. The 3rd one is a secret code hidden somewhere (mentioned earlier in this thread). Searching for the word "secret" in this thread should locate the reference to it easily enough; an ideal post is by dino.

P.S. A couple of those screenshots I took while falling... :ebil: :joke: :thumb:

I guess if my explorations was in the same direction as the FM maker intended I go, then I probably would of found them.
A drawback I am also finding is that one objective is if we knock out any of the "....City Watch (guys in green)" then the mission fails. I find if I knock out any of the guys in brown, the mission fails also.
