errr. . . it's been a while - I hope I remember correctly.
Vault 3 code:
underneath the counter in the inventor's house/shop - (the place with the cw mice)
Vault 2 code:
It's in one of the rooms at the inn
Vault 1 code:
Is in the wall safe at the inn (behind the counter)
Good luck!

I want to say thank you for making Ashen. I would like to see a night-mission of this quality, and I look forward to your next mission. Thanks.
It's one of the best looking T2 missions I've seen. I had no idea the T2 engine could render textures in such resolution. The textures themselves were excellent.
The level design is excellent with lots of details. I would like to see a little more larger areas. Perhaps a difference between streets and alleys, perhaps a few well defined buildings.
Gameplaywise, there was a few twists here and there. I found it difficult to make progress at first. Admittedly, I did not find the switch for the iron gate closing off sewer from the hideout, and had to find help online. I would have never found the plaque for vault 3 hadn't I saw it online.
I've gone around town, I've done what I can.
I've cleared the way to the old sewers, where I find a door I can't open
Can anyone help me get past this?

I can't remember but if you do a search there's a long thread on this mission.
Sticky Fingers on 6/11/2007 at 04:33
Lady Darkone : When you have a question about a mission, the best thing to do is a search for that mission (in this case, type 'ashen') & you'll generally find a single thread for that mission. (In this case it's (
http://www.ttlg.com/forums/showthread.php?t=110275&highlight=ashen) here).
Not intending to sound mean, but starting threads for individual mission questions tends to "crowd" the forum - many early missions have multiple threads, & it can be a real pain finding an answer among them.
Best of luck, & welcome to the forum! :D

Isn't this the one where you have to blast the passage clear with explosives? I dunno...I get confused myself.
theImmortalThief on 6/11/2007 at 14:20
Yes. The door behind the caved in portion of the sewers that has to be blasted to clear the path, is unfrobbable and locked and it can't be opened in this mission. Once you've completed all other objectives, return to that door and the mission will end.
Apparently part 2 of this mission (that hasn't been released yet) happens behind that door.
P.S: Now that I've posted and said everything I wanted to say, let us not continue this discussion in this thread and as Sticky just said, let us continue it at it's own thread. ;)
Immortal :)

Yet another gem of a mission. The sound and texture packs must be kicking in, because I don't remember the ambiance being as good the first time around.
And the guided gas bomb mechanical rat weapons - fantastic!

Glad you liked it! :)
