I have codes for vaults 1 and 3, but need a hint for the whereabouts of code 2 please.
Might be in a hotel bedroom.

i also liked the new footsteps sounds that´s something that no one ever remember to do,
That was actually the one thing I didn't like. Those footsteps make the wood sound hollow and echoey(?). I thought the T2 ones were much better.
Not to bastardize the mission, but i was curious to see how this mission would look at night, so i relit it, lowered the ambient just a hair, changed the sunlight to dim/blueish moonlight.
It looked pretty cool, apart from the fact I didn't change the sky, so that looked a little odd. I just ran around in Dromed like that, I'll only play it as Sliptip created it ofcourse.

The footsteps on wood to me didn't sound right... as in it sounded too distant like Garrett was far away from the ground he was walking on. But that's just me. :cheeky:

Actually I tried that out too - and liked it a lot. I was really tempted to leave it that way. I liked the way the clouds looked all moonlit, plus I was sick of seeing it in the daylight. Ultimately I decided that sunlight would be more of a novelty though.

Out of curiosity what does 'Ashen' mean?
Sliptip on 24/11/2006 at 23:50
From dictionary .com
ash·en1 (shn) Pronunciation Key
adj.
1. Consisting of ashes.
2. Resembling ashes, especially in color; very pale: A face ashen with grief.
To be honest your question had me worried for a sec, as I didn't actually look it up before I titled the thing. But those 2 definitions are pretty much what I had in mind. :joke:

It's amazing to see how adding a few facets to get rounded arches dramatically improves a mission's appearance. That's not to say that that the textures, sounds, lighting and mission design weren't top-notch (they certainly were), but those smooth archways and vaults really tied it together. Great work, Sliptip!
