Silly me! As I said, I needed a lot of pointers from Nickie to finish but I think some of that was caused by having to play it in small bits and pieces over a long period of time. I forgot a lot of clues that were in things I read. That lightning storm was fantastic as was the blazing barrier along with a lot of other things. I hope to play it from the beginning again as soon as I have time, all in one sitting, so I can properly appreciate it.
Thanks, Brethren, for a fantastic mission! :thumb:

Unfortunately, numerous bugs made me give up this very interesting mission:(. Every ten of about 12 attempts to get any weapon led to a game crash, the vicinity of the docks mattering nothing. The bug occurred everywhere. At the beginning i got stuck under the gate to the Stonemarket. It took about several dozens, may be more, of tries to get under it. Afterwards I couldn't make a bomb to get to the docks. The lid above the containers with base materials and whatever else was there didn't want to close. The machine produced some sound but no charge. Finally, I failed to clear the way to the docks. I installed barrels with explosives and shielded charge. Afterwards an "I-did-something-wrong" obejective ticked and the mission was failed. I tried to start over this part from a different save but nothing seemed to help. At the hundredth something attempt my nerves snapped. I may return to the mission over time (in a year or so) and i hope i'll have better luck next time. :(:(

Fantastic mission! I will surely replay it quite soon.
Two questions:
1. I got up to a place with a hostile Keeper and a door with just a wall behind it. Pressing a little button up here triggered a secret. What did this open?
2. Is there any way into the pawnshop or a way open the huge wooden gate in the same block?
nickie on 30/5/2012 at 19:48
1. :D Well done for getting up there, but it wasn't necessary. The secret was in fact to shoot the Keeper with a particular arrow. That's all. There's nothing that opens.
2. No, you can't get into the pawnshop or the wooden gate.
@ Sneaky Aniza - I'm sorry you had such a difficult time with this. I think you were particularly unlucky with bugs.

I've been keeping an eye on this thread hoping to see an update which will hopefully give me another chance to play. Any news?

Bobber, send a PM to Brethren. Perhaps he can be of help.

@nickie: thanks for the info. Now I do not need to lose sleep pondering about those things. ;)
My hat's off to Brethren for managing to hide multiple loot pieces quite well.

I'm buggered and in need of help. I'm well into this thing (90 minutes).
looking for the steal plate to make something blow up
For some reason all the on screen text has stopped working...well save the gold plaque on the electrical doohickey by the stonemarket gate. I don't think it will be possible to finish now. I've tried earlier saves, restarting the game, reinstalling and have now gone so far as to toss the original file and DL a new one. Nothing seems to work. Other missions check out fine so it just seem to be a problem with BH.

That happened to me in this and another one recently but reinstalling tnhscript fixed it for me.
Close to the weapons shop in Stonemarket is a balcony leading to a room.

Got it working again. I didn't know it but my computer did and auto restart while Darkloader was running overnight. It must have done something strange to the install. A reboot of the computer solved the problem. I'm close to completion (I think) now.
