Finished, what a beautiful and complex mission, man I missed a bunch of secrets, they are obviously very well hidden. Soul Tear, I have one question for you. Since I missed it from the beginning, I went back to see how to enter the sewers, I have been all over the moat and in the underwater cave, but cannot find the entrance. I see there is a log sticking out of a drain with water coming out halfway up the wall of the moat, but cannot seem to get in that way, no way to shoot up a rope arrow, if that is even the way. Doesn't seem to be anything around the cave area. At the far end of the moat, opposite the cave, it looks like there is something, but the branches prevent me from going that wayIf you can tell me where, that will be great, then I will pretty much have been almost everywhere. Can't wait for the second installment. BTW, playing on hard difficulty.

@rustmite: That sewer pipe with the log is the way in, but you have to shoot the rope arrow from above since the water is too deep to shoot an arrow from down in the moat. It took me several tries and reloads, but I had success placing the arrow from the city wall side of the moat, to the left from the main gate. That way the arrow (and deployed rope) were to the left of the log, in the center of the pipe, which made for easier jumping into the pipe.

I just got it, whoa, that was difficult, I saw it from the beginning and said, no way. All that for a gold nugget, haha. Thanks.

I have to be super dumb to miss whatever I'm missing but I'm stuck in the first part of town. I came into the city via climbing the gate, found the key in the police station and have also found that secret grate entrance into the cellar with all the barrels. But now I'm stuck.
No key or lockpick will open any of the doors down there, not even the door in the booth with the guard and the mechanical eye and except for Lady Adeline (whose apartment I left untouched because of the letter from my fence where he tells you not to steal anything from her) I have been everywhere I know of.
Any hints or suggestions?

Take a look in the area where you found the way to the
wine cellar for another
hidden entrance where you can use the
key from the police station.
Bigger spoil:
you will need your sword this time but don't let the guard see you.
The door opposite
the booth with the archer and mech camera will open and is worth searching.

It will be available in 2nd or 3rd mission...
Ok thanks. Do I actually need that key for anything in this mission?
Now I have my 5000 gold objective left (found 2036 so far only), I'm wondering where else I need to go; is there a way to
disable the magical barrier that leads to the cave in the inn basement? And where's the
zombie house people are talking about?

Thanks Sagittal, made it with your first hint, but only because a friend of mine who was watching and doesn't know the game said "Can't you slash anything with your sword here?" ;)

This is for atmosphere.
Zombie house - NW of the map between the House of Science and the city wall. You need a rope arrow (wooden beam under the roof).
You can download the loot list on the link in the first post.

Whilst I agree, the graphics look very good indeed, the frame rate is so low that for me, it's completely unplayable.
My system comprises 3.2G i5 Proc, 8G Ram and 2G graphics, which is not too bad.
It seems that the author has lost sight of the fact that ultimately this is a game to be played - if you can't do that then all the hard work that has gone into this cannot be properly appreciated. :(
