I've had it not work properly even when I've done what I was supposed to but usually I can get it eventually after a few tries.

I am at the valut but when i try to use a moss arrow I get thief2.exe has stopped working. it happens as sonn as i try to bring up the arrows inventory. It started to happened around the hotel rooms area I did a save and reload and got the code to the valut but when i try to enter the valut it crashes just after i enter the code and try to use a moss arrow
I cannot complete the game. Is there a fix for this please?
I get the same problem playing Art of Thievery around the chapel :(

Might be that one or more textures that have to do with the moss arrow are in DDS format. I'm thinking of grmoss, earfhead.
If that's the case, converting them to png or gif could give you a smile.

just tryed to replay this mission,and the sewer gate key did not work,anyone else confirm?=the underwater gate

There are two sewer keys you need, each held by a bogey. One is near the underwater gate, and the other is in a round room to the south with bonfires and dead guards.

I saw this thread the other day and decided to give Benny's Dead a shot. I play older fan missions with a bit of trepidation and went into this one with low expectations. Playing on expert, I found the mission rather entertaining given it's age. I liked the fact that I was forced to do some amateur "ghosting" because of the knockout limit on expert. I really had to think before I wasted a blackjack on someone.
I was well aware of the buggy ending, so was not surprised when things didn't turn out quite as planned when all was said and done. I was able to experience the ending by brute force and never did get the "mission accomplished" message.
I'm assuming that no sequel(s) ever came out for this. Is that correct?
