death stage is 2 instead of 1. you dont have to hit the ai 40 times, the hitpoints are weird in dromed its more the death stage and max hit points that matter.
i understand you guys not liking it. its ok to not like it. in fact i didnt expect anybody to really like it, more just understand the way the story goes becuase the fms draw from each other.
to quote dream theater- " to those who understand, i extend my hand. to the doubtful i demand- take me as i am" :)
clock- there is no shame in not being the best with a sword. before i built this fm, i was terrible at sparring! imagine the amount of times i played through this thing heh

Just for clarification I'd like to say that I liked the concept behind this mission, and am totally fine with making the guards tough. It's just that in my case this was taken to an extreme by what I believe is a bug. I would also like to say it is great hearing some heavy metal in a FM. Especially in Motel Hell 2 with the Megadeth track. Cool! Just work in something off Rust In Peace, or maybe some Slayer, in the next one!:cheeky:

Same goes here. I just think it would be even better if Talon's abilities were altered because of his
homicidal behavior. That doesn't necessarily mean he'd be stronger, but quicker perhaps, or he'd hear voices that tell him to kill whenever nearing an AI :cheeky:. I generally dislike forced confrontation, but there was a reason for this.

The link: Cheap mission downloads refuses me to download this (and other) FM's. What's wrong? Does anybody know?

You sure, Gloria? You know how to download from ThiefMissions.com, right? Just asking. I could always send it through mIRC if you'd like. #Thief-FMs is still open and functional .

"Take no prisoners, take no sh*t!" Abso-muthaf*ckin-lootly!:thumb: (Notice the Cliff 'Em All quote, ironic eh?) Or maybe the first track "Repel down the rocks, behind the lines..." and "...with hopes to enslave me. First mistake, last mistake!"
As for Slayer, I always thought "Alive Undead" should have been used in a zombie mission. "cannot stand the PAAAAAAIIIINNNNN! Alive Undead!"

Very interesting mission, I liked the nice change of pace and the beefed up AI. I really don't understand some people's suggestions of making Talon stronger or have a more powerful sword because that would even things out with the AI and that would basically be making a normal game.
Somehow though I came up short 6 loot, that's kind of an odd number don't you think? Wonder what I could've missed.
