I think you're talking about Sudden Heart Attack Syndrome, which is a Thief bug and no particular mission bug.
Anyway, I have played no FM's for quite a while. I just went to thiefmissions.com to check for a small file size mission, generally thinking it would be a shorter mission. I saw your new mission and played it. Jesus, uncadonego, this mission is absolutely frickin' stunning. What a gameplay masterpiece. And so frickin' gorgeous. Not your best storywise, though it seems obvious that's not what you were going for. I'm one of those people that like it when you write long readables. The one with the little insight into Garrett's brother's personality was good though, I agree with Bikerdude. I double checked in Thief Nonetheless, and yep, same bedroom furniture!:cheeky: He's still in the habit of hiding his coins in the same spot too!:laff:
You just keep getting better and better, and you already started out frickin' great!:thumb: KEEP UP THE GOOD WORK!:thumb:

Good stuff, Uncadonego, except for:
Those tiny switches hidden in the darkened museum! I HATE SWITCH HUNTS!
This would be an excellent format for a collaborative work--no real story, but chunks of cityscape stitched together by different authors. It could evolve over time into new versions. People might add new areas or possibly elaborate on those spaces originally blocked by those texture-only doors.

Help! I need savegame with rope arrows, I have wasted them in exploring the whole map and can't seem to get them back without dying.
I am about to enter the museum, but I get stuck coz I have no rope arrows to climb in the museum, art gallery whatever.

I'm still missing about 500 of loot (on expert) :( I think I've explored all available places... But I'm sure I haven't :) Definitely need some loot list or guide...

I don't think you need rope arrows to get into the museam - not if you are right at it. You just crouch near the window the MechBot is patrolling by, and run forward - you should slip right into it.

Finally had the time to play it myself. After reading so many enthusiastic responses I knew this had to be something special. You never dissapointed me Don, and you haven't done this time :D.
Excellent work :thumb: This is really your best fanmission so far.
Like many others I completely overlooked the
hatches to crouch through at the start of the mission ;)
Except of that I didnt encountered any more big obstacles. Because I've played more of your fm's in the past, finding the hidden
switches
inside the gallery wasn't really difficult :)
All that climbing and mantling high above the city streets was very entertaining. The city you created brought back a lot of memories to me from the original mission Life of the Party. Many familiar locations like the bell-tower and the thin connection between two buildings you can cross, but lots of new area's as well.
The factory was really a surprise. I haven't played a fanmission before in wich you could create your own equipement with machines like in Sabotage at Soulforge (at least I can't remember any).
I found 4 of the
5
secrets, from which some were quite easy to find to be honest like
the health potion behind a flower pot
Some alternative routes of travel, good use of textures, funny conversations with new voices, really great. The things I've missed in your mission were weather and a good story, but all in all a really recommended mission. The best rooftop fanmissions ever! I can't believe there are so few fanmissions in this category. Perhaps it's because Life of the Party already was such a beautiful mission and it's such a hard job to equal it's quality. You did a great job with this one, sometimes even exceeding Life of the Party. Sorry for my constant comparison between the two, but it's something everyone who owns thief 2 must have noticed ;) Like I wrote before, there are just too few fanmission like this :erg:.
I've found a few bugs during my exploration. I will send you a pm in case you want to fix them.
Thanks alot Uncadonego. Already plans for a next mission?

I am having more fun with this FM than a human should be allowed to have!!! I'm in the museum now, but can't find the switch that's supposed to be on the floor where you originally enter (with the mech patrol). Any hints??? Thanks in advance!
Also;
if you frob the switches out of order, can you reset & re-frob them again, or do you have to restart the museum part?
Tx again!

Dia....
I think you will find a little tiny switch !!! behind one of the statues , close to the floor. I found them in random order ,and they worked OK . Also there are 2 switches in the basement bedroom.

Great fun :D Big Thank You to Uncadonego.:thumb:

BIG thanks, NAC! (Since my boss won't let me play Thief at work (go figure!) I'll just have to wait til I get home.)
And yes; thanks over & over again to Don!!

Bah nevermind that part is not the problem is what is beyond to climb up.
I have managed to recover one rope arrow, and still is it impossible to get up, stupid roof, too high and too much angle.
I gave up on finishing it for now.
