Very nice mission. I missed a secret somewhere but otherwise didn't have too much trouble, except for all the missed jumps ending in my splattering death. Kind of dark - that might be my video card though.
This would go well as part of a fm campaign. :)

a lovely mission... I am in love with it! these are my favorite kinds of missions, and this is one of the best :)
is there any way to link up a bunch of them, and have a huge explorable city-scape? or is that too much for the poor Dark Engine?
also, I got 4/5 secrets, but after all that time, am too exhausted to go back and look for one more :p

Help! I'm standing on the castle battlements looking at a white stone ledge below some windows. Garret says, "I wonder if any of the windows open" and I can frob one window and hear the "locked" sound. I can't lean far enough to pick it open from the battlement.
Unfortunately I can't jump to the ledge. It's not very far to jump and the ledge looks wide enough to land on, but I fall every time. I can get on the ledge above the windows via the tower next to it, but the upper ledge is too wide to use to drop to the lower ledge. Is there another way into that building?

Stuck on this one. After reading the threads I found out there is a Blackjack. :-( Oh well, with a 57 minute saved game, I won't go back and restart soon. I flipped the switches in the "machine" room and the elevator does not want to move.
Must all the switches (wherever they are) be flipped for the elevator to work or is it suppose to work?

I'm not sure what you mean by "machine room"? The Factory? If so, then no the elevator doesn't work.

Thanks! I guess it is the Factory area. I flipped the two switches there.

Now I'm stuck again, playing on Expert. I've been to the factory and made some stuff,:thumb: visited whats-his-name's brother,:laff: some secret areas, the gallery and its vault, and everywhere mentioned on the map. I have a bit over 3100 loot but there is one place I can see but cannot get to:
In an attic apartment, overlooking the plaza with the bank balcony, are two unarmed men, one in a green shirt and one who looks like Basso. I found a
[SPOILER]grate that opens near the ceiling[/SPOILER]
but I cannot get to it -- there isn't enough room without crouching, and it's not possible to mantle and crouch at the same time (not for me anyway). I tried rope arrows and standing on top of the open door to get higher before trying to mantle up, many times, and every time I fall. I can see an area behind it. How do I get there?

P.S.: I made a perfect airborne knockout onto the archer in red who was standing on the bank balcony. He broke my fall (no damage to me) and took a hit from my blackjack simultaneously,:cool: but as soon as I landed beside the body, I failed the mission because my altitude was too low. :nono: Why'd you tempt us like that, uncadonego?
