I'm gathering secrets in the 1st mission and it looks like there is one related to Annette and her balcony. An opened window in the guard tower? I see no way to get there... Something else?

About that guard tower window: its frame will take a carefully aimed rope arrow.

I'm trying to understand what exactly secret I miss.

Mission 3 secrets - I'm still hoping for some help.
I have 5 but can't remember them all. The ones I can remember are:
1. Baffords, ring in freezer room.
2, Baffords, gem in hanging pot in greenhouse room.
3. Church, chalice in rafters hiding place.
4. Iago, mirror cupbboard (if that was a secret).
5. Can't remember!

Thanks, got them all now. It was the Bafford library and attic I was missing. I thought from the exterior of the building there had to be a roof space, but had been unable to find a way there.
If I have a small criticism it would be the navigation in mission 3, which can become tedious. Having obliged the player to find a novel way to enter the various buildings, I think it would be better to allow them to open an exit at ground level in each one (an exit that stays open). But lots of fun all the same.

2nd mission is rather straightforward, but... is it really?
I noticed some semi-hidden switches in the rooms of the adept tower. Where is the clue about what to do with them? And is there a way to search the top of the highest tower in peace (those mages are unknockable it seems)?

I did not find any clues to getting into the lab ingame, but there is a blatant spoiler here in post #87.
The rooftop mages can be knocked out. Simply lure them down the pathway into a dark area.
