Pretty good stuff. I finished it with all of the secrets thanks to the rune list in this thread (some of those are really hidden!)

Is the 7 triangles/13th room secret supposed to do anything? Or just flavor. Nothing happens when I step in the fountain and I had used my bottle to make an invisibility potion with that cinnabar/salt mixture before, so I couldn't test that out. Also, is the skull supposed to do anything? I picked it up but it didn't tick off any extra objective or anything, and can't seem to be used anywhere..

The fountain heals you, so if you were at full health, there wouldn't be any effect. The skull is only a bonus item, doesn't do anything. One other item that does stuff though is Saturn, if you found it, it allows you to slow-fall :)

I've found the attic and petals but I cannot seem to place them on the table with the white globe

You need to just drop them on the table, check your hotkeys/key bindings for "drop item".

Finally managed to complete the mission! :D You can check out my Let's Play on youtube.
I did have to look at a walkthrough a couple of times eventually, near the end of the mission.

You did a great great job on this one, I can't imagine how much work it must have been. My mission is far less detailed and I'm working my butt off for it, I don't want to know how many hours I've already spend on it haha.
Sometimes I felt the puzzles were too difficult, perhaps make a few extra hints for the player to find, so that he can still proceed if the first hint didn't help. A different example is that a lot of players didn't know about the lantern that you could pick up, especially because you need to stand very close to it. A player doesn't expect that :)

But don't get me wrong, this is a mission I won't soon forget ;)

That's great to hear :) I still have a few FM's I've promised to play but haven't found the right time for yet (I always want to make sure I can play them undisturbed for the best experience).

Can't wait to see the blind LP :) Btw, were you satisfied when you heard my reaction to the loud explosion during the mission? xD I don't easily shout from fear like that haha, so well done.
