I thought that was who was standing in the yard. I must've frozen for a good couple of minutes when I saw, just waiting for something to happen... this mission had me pretty spooked for a while!
For the secrets: I missed the
book! Ahhh, so much to find in this mission! Thank you very much, Dale! :D
No problem :)
Hint for the location of the book:
It's in the room where you first encountered the sign "leave now or I will hurt you"

Is that possible to eliminate/remove thouse smoke-like elementals?

They can't be killed but it's possible to do all secrets/bonus objectives before you pick up the bottle near the broken entrance. Picking up this bottle triggers them and the rest of the story.

Someone mentioned that there was a bottle of rainwater in the room with a dragonfly on the door but I haven't come across that area. Does anyone know how to get there?
Also, I found a map of the cabin, but I can't seem to pick it up. What am I supposed to do with it?
Thanks.

It's the first room on the left after you enter the other part of the house from the terrace window.Quote Posted by Dogar

You need to use something on the map for it to be useful. The symbol on the floor of the room indicates what is needed. (It's also possible that you don't have this thing yet, in which case you'll need to do other stuff first).

Catching up with the latest FMs, I recently played this and LOVED it. So far my favorite FM of 2016. I really enjoy non-Garrett Thief FMs if they're well executed, and this one was almost perfect.
The trip to the cottage was lovely and reminded me a bit of the first mission of King's Story. A good creepy atmosphere, and while often AI can make a creepy mission less creepy, the burricks were a nice addittion.
The house itself was brilliantly designed - it looks large but also easy to explore on first sight - since it's a ruin, it must be pretty easy to find everything. But it didn't take long for me to notice how much there possibly could be hidden away - all the subtle textures implied the house had many secrets. I liked Anita as a mystery voice, not knowing if she would keep being a foe or turn into a friend. And the design of the mission tells more story than all the readables combined!
Dale_, I hope you keep making FMs and I'm looking forward to be surprised again!

I thought the glyphs might have something to do with it, but I found them all and now I'm out of clues. Can you drop a hint about the map?
Also,
when I got the final glyph, I went to the glyph room, but when I frobbed the thing on the ceiling, nothing happened. I then got murdered by one of those dust things, and when I reloaded a previous save, suddenly a "objective complete" chime pinged automatically and the Saturn object was in my inventory! Bug maybe?

It requires an object that you can get from the desk where you placed the two owls. The second thing indeed sounds like a bug. After frobbing all symbols, you should be able to frob the ceiling thing and get Saturn.

Ok, so I started playing this mission again where I left off. Kind'a forgot most of this mission.
I'm at the entrance to the grotto maze. Can someone lead me through that maze? Been at it for hours, I think that's why I never finished this mission...

If you mean the maze with the burricks, then here's some help: What you need to do is find a stick so that you can place it on a rock and climb up into a place.
When you enter the cave and rope up, go to the left and on the left side there should be the stick. After that go to the far right and eventually you'll see a rock that you can frob.
