We didn't fix any of the Newmantle issues as there were usually a number of nearby locations that you could climb over otherwise.

There can be multiple keys for one lock, multiple locks that can be opened with one key, and everything in between you can think of. Never say never.:ebil:
The DML above (post #133) seems not yet to be part of T2FMDML. Thus, the first question is: RealSlimGarrett, did you play with the DML fixes posted here in this thread or not? If you did not make DML files yourself (from what was posted in post #133 above), then you play without these DML files.
I can play the "Crooked Town" missions again to see what happens at the West Gate for me, but it would notably reduce workload if you could tell us a) whether you made (=extracted) and used DML files from post #133, and b) which difficulty setting you used.
EDIT: I just noticed that there is a crooked_v3a.zip file out there that has some errors in the file structure. Some unzip programs, including the ones integrated into the various FM loaders (FMSel, NewDarkLoader, AngelLoader, DarkLoader), may have trouble with that file, while others unpack it correctly. RealSlimGarrett, would you please also tell us which FM loader you used?

I found a problem there. The bonus objective ("find out why Crooked Town is so crooked") does not count as a bonus objective, but as a real one. The player has to find the note telling him why it's crooked.
Additionally, if the player found the scroll, but did not read it before going through the gate, he/she might have to pass through the gate again afterwards. That might be an explanation for RealSlimGarrett's problem. If not, we might have another bug lurking here.
I checked this on easiest difficulty level with and without the DML. I guess it will be the same on higher difficulty levels, though.
