Go through the trapdoor int eh wagon, down to second trapdoor - push button to open it. In room below, follow the corridor round tot he back where there's another room. Step onto the teleporter and wait a few seconds - you'll be taken to the 5th podium so you can finish the mission. (there was supposed to be antoehr area there but I never finished it - and won't be. Of course if anyone else wants to adopt it, I won't object..)

Through the corridor!? What corridor are you talking about? It's just an empty room . . . :confused:
It's too bad the mission was never finished, because it is very unique. I loved all the carnival games, and they scripted some really original things.

Who has the code to get all the Lucky Lights green, so the door will open?
I tried all kinds of "systems" but I can't seem to hack it.
BTW: great FM. All is turned around: Garrett has to put back his loot and then there's that curse ............... try shooting your ropes when being cursed ............ I'm still drunk doing it.

Yeah, it's a shame Dashjianta never finished that one, it had a lot of neat things, especially for its time. As for your question, I haven't played it in forever so I'm afraid I can't help you. I'm sure Nightwalker will though :)

I have to admit that I've only played this one once, a long time ago, and I don't recall either. If you unzip the mission, though, there's a walkthrough included. It says:
"Puzzle 3: This is the hardest of the puzzles. On one wall you have a block of mushrooms (four of which should be glowing) On the opposite wall is the sign with instructions. This is how the puzzle works:
Each of the mushrooms is fobable. When you frob a mushroom it goes either on or off - as do all the other mushrooms. For example:
1 2 3 4
5 6 7 8
9 10 11 12
If you frob mushroom 1 it will change, as will all adjoining mushrooms - 2,5 and 6
Mushroom 6 will change: 1,2,3,5,6,7,9,10,11
If a mushroom is on, it goes off. If it is off it goes on. You want to turn them all on.
The solution to this puzzle was provided earlier - in the scroll that was in the wagon. Remember the odd page numbers? A3, C2, A1, C4
Imagine the block of lights as a grid. From the top down, the rows are: A,B,C
From left to right, the columns are 1,2,3,4
The page numbers correspond to this grid. To light all lights push A3 (top line, third from left, C2 (bottom line, second from left), A1 and C4. All lights should be lit and the last door open."

I already hacked it, but I don't know how I did it, so thanks for this solution. Perhaps I'll play it again some time.
I'm playing all kinds of "old" Tfief II FM's, since I'm able to download these.
O lucky me.
Some are really great!
The Thief I and Gold missions still aren't playable on my new computer. I even can't install TG.
So for now I just play the TMA games.

I recall an install problem with TG when I had Windows2000 as the OS.
To make it work, I think I had to run it as 'SETUP -NTFORCE' (or similar, someone correct me if it's wrong pls). Might be worth trying if you have the same or XP ?
Not sure if this is anything to do with the problem your having, but i'm drinking beer again! :sly: ;) :bored: :p
