Dr who was the best in the 70-s and early 80-s with Tom Baker, I liked him the best. But I watch all Dr. Who lol even the colin baker ones
Oh and I'm in the beginning part where you come to a gate and it looks like you need a mechanist gear key, I can't find one and I'm stuck... how do I open the door?

Nope. I mean, I assume not - I haven't seen any Dr Who since the 80's. As to your question, for now I'll remain mum. I'll post a separate thread at some point to ask for people's interpretations of certain things about the mission, as well as a list of, "Did you notice..." things.

What a wonderful creepy scary mission!!!!!!:thumb:
I need some help now, I passed the metal bridge that broke, found a sewer access key under a zombie in the water and there is a metal gate I cannot get through....what am I missing?

ShadowSoul: Look for a purse on the ground. If you already got it, go back to where it was. If you don't remember, then go stand beside the large crate nearest to the lock, trying it from different angles.
Maga: That key opens another gate, not the one where you are. Head back over the broken bridge (but quick save before making the jump as some people get stuck on it when they land).

Sorry Yandros, I didn't read the thread other than for the initial announcement so I wasn't spoiled. I hope you do eventually do a "directors cut" so to speak and give us a little info on the ending. I'll wait till then to give a few thoughts on what I thought of the mission.
Does that mean the mission does end when you read the note at the end then?
and maga;
I believe you have to head back across the bridge, right to the opposite end of the tunnel. There is another gate that has a lockbox to the left where you can use the key.EDIT: Yandros! To Quick!

I am in the throne room and have the 2 gems. I tried killing the lady but I'm too slow and cannot reach her. If I put the gems and try to hide in the corner, she always spots me and kills me.......
Sticky Fingers on 23/11/2008 at 16:16
maga - you can't kill 'the lady' (& that ain't no lady :wot: ). Place the gems whilst she's looking away, then get back to the room where you entered the mirror.

EZ-52: Yes, that's it. There will be a discussion thread about the mission and the ending in particular in the near future, but there may never be a director's cut.
maga: Sticky's got your answer.

Ah okay, I suppose having a director's cut would be interesting, but I understand it takes time. I really want to hear your take on the story though, because I've got a few theories of my own, but like I previously said would rather wait until I heard the "official" story first.

well I guess we know where DP3 will start :ebil:
very good mission although the end stats exaggerated a little I only jumped a couple of times I never screamed like a little girl and my pants are pristine :p ;)
some very nice touches like the ability to walk through doors when in the shadow realm, the problem was that the bad ladies could see me through the closed doors and I couldn't see them, the first I knew about it was when their footsteps stopped and they hit me with a skull blast
one minor criticism I'm not a big fan of gotcha traps that have absolutely no warning until you trigger them and there's no way of avoiding them, like the one with the two beasties that just appear as you hit the floor just before you find the guy practising his oratory, still it's difficult to do missions like this without gotchas and you managed it with only the one so I'm still impressed :thumb:
I got less than half the loot :( and played for about two and three quarter hours on "petrify me" and enjoyed it hugely :thumb:

Finished!:D
