What a adventure ! It is like a movie !
I didn't want to leave my computer before the end of the mission!
The end was little enigmatic for me because I had problems to understand the conversations between Garrett and his friend. They were not transcribed to the screen and I, alas, don't understand very well the english speechs :(
But the progression in the fm and the readables alows to understand the story in general and I appreciated it.
Thank to you Yandros and Will for this great fm. I loved it! :D

Gaetane, glad you enjoyed it! I think Lady Jo has translated all the cutscene text into French, you should ask her about it.

Oh, very well. Thank you for this information :D I'll ask her.

That was great! Really scary and nightmarish with no possibility to wake up, always hunting you through a new frightening part.
Thank you very much, Yandros and Will, I had a very suspenseful time playing :)

Finished on Scare Me, in 1 hour and 11 minutes, with 100 loot found.
Immersive, and often disturbing. Overall it didn't scared me as much as Deceptive Perception, but still plenty of freaky moments, like the encounters with Andariel and the hospital area.
Unfortunately, most conversations were too soft to hear what was said. The last part was better after I turned the speaker's volume up, but it's odd this was neccessary while the general sound/music gives no problem.
Beside this, I also experienced an "instant-running bug" every time I switched back to the game, and after leaving teleportation state.
The visuals are really beautiful. I can't think of any other mission with so many impressive special effects included :wot:.
Also love the story-telling element, that becomes stronger with every progress, and results in an unexpected ending :ebil:.
Excellent variation in objectives, locations and puzzles. This offers so much more then the originial contest mission!
Thank you Yandros and Will for an awesome mission! :thumb:

It was perfect for me. I am mostly exploration person so the "no loot" was something i liked. Congratulations for this exellent horror mission, waiting for the next part:cheeky:

Finally got around to this. Some comments:
[spoiler]
1) I enjoyed the mission for the most part, but I think I prefer missions without such tight scripting. The Barney thing, the inevitability of getting knocked out by the doctor. There's no way around it. And of course, I'm Garrett, so I'm accustomed to winning at the end...
2) I agree with a couple other people that I didn't like needing to kill Barney to move on in the mission. I usually ghost and I can't remember the last time that I killed a human (who wasn't targeted in an objective). So needing to kill an innocent guy who is also your friend just to move forward in the mission leaves a sour taste with me.
But I suppose I deserve a whipping because on the first try, I took the spirit's suggestion and killed Barney as quickly as I could, despite seeing "Kill Him" magically appear in blood. Yes, it was really idiotic to take the suggestion of an apparition. The players who were smart enough to not kill Barney on the first try deserve some credit.
3) It might be time for that discussion thread.

Thanks for the comments. And just for the record,
you did have an explicit objective to kill Barney (although it was misleading of course, instructing you to kill a doppleganger).

..... yes, but you only get the keyring if you kill him
Yandros, BTW: I restarted the game and now I'm stuck getting back at the broken bridge for the first time.
I walk over the bridge when it's whole, do what I have to do and when I return, I get blokked at the same way I earlier told you.
I guess, I must download again, because no one else seems to have this problem ....
I don't understand, since I earlier got to the other timezone and back ...????

I mean, you CAN jump across and NOT get stuck in the bridge. :D
I just read this ... are you kidding me? :ebil:
I just wanted to exclaim that I did get across the bridge .... a.s.o.
You're
