Well I can, but will you be able to click the Load button to load it? I would rather first try and fix your menu issue. Try this:
1. Uninstall the mission by choosing the Original T2 missions in Darkloader.
2. Go to your T2 install folder and remove any folders left which shouldn't be there, following the directions in (
http://www.ttlg.com/forums/showthread.php?t=48202) this thread under "Clean up of files".
3. Reinstall DP2, and try again.
4. If it still has the menu issue, report what files and folders are inside the \intrface folder inside your T2 folder.
5. You can also try to delete the following from the \intrface folder and it should work, although you'll have the standard menu screens:
* All files directly inside \intrface (not in a subfolder) - this should be 28 files which all end in .str, .bin or .pcx
* The \dials folder inside of \intrface
Do NOT delete the \miss19 or \English subfolders, or the mission will not work at all.

As Halloween approaches, I'm playing through all the haunted missions again. Just did this one this evening. It's the first time I'm playing it in NewDark. I noticed the problems Azaran mentioned a page or two ago (the missing NPC ghosts for the torture scene, the unfrobbable crate), but downloading the updated scripts Yandros posted a page or two ago fixed that. I also was able to see the Keeper Shadows; maybe the latest version of NewDark fixed that?
Anyway, I wanted to post the problems I still noticed. I'm using the latest NewDark (v 1.23) and DarkLoader v 4.3.
-The guard / hunter guy just before you enter the doctor's area near the end of the mission does not die as he should. When I entered the hospital area, I still heard his scream, but the guard was still humming after it. I went back and the guard was still standing alive.
-In the bar scene that begins just after you have escaped the doctor's freezer, a Garrett model 'runs' into the scene, making two Garretts. I assume somehow the actual player model ran into the scene.
-A lot more often I noticed the DarkEngine bug where Garrett keeps moving in a certain direction and you have to hammer one of the movement keys twice to stop it. This happens on and off throughout all missions, I know, but I noticed it a lot more this time. It would always occur after a warp, such as to and from the shadow world or to and from the bar scene (this especially hurt the immersion after the final bar scene, when Garrett steps out onto the streets).
-I also noticed the gate in the streets at the end didn't highlight, though you can still frob it. I can't remember if it highlighted before.
I thought I'd post all this just to keep the info coming on potential problems of pre-NewDark missions with NewDark. Of course, that these are caused by NewDark is an assumption; I just know I hadn't noticed these things before. And everything else seemed fine. Since I had seen the latest posts were in May of this year I thought I wouldn't be committing too much of thread necromancy. :cheeky:
Anyway, this a great mission to play around Halloween. I loved revisiting it (I think the last time I played it was in 2011). Great mission as always! I might play it again before Halloween using FMsel to see if these problems are still present using that.

Thanks for the report. Some of those are new and possibly attributable to NewDark, like the extra Garrett. The moving-after-teleport has always been there and I haven't noticed it being worse under NewDark. It has to do with whether or not you are moving when the process starts. Anyway, I should probably try to do a NewDark update of this one like I did What Lies Below last Halloween, at least to address some of these issues if not to update visual quality.

Just played it with NewDark 1.23 and didn't encounter any bugs whatsoever. Or maybe I considered them intentional, given the "deceptive" nature of the mission :D

I don't understand the story quite well.
Which is reality? Talking to the friend in the pub, or does Garrett really end up in the "arms" of the doctor?
I also don't really understand the end.
