In a nutshell, Garrett
never escaped from the doctor's freezer. In his dying moments his brain made up the whole scenario of retelling the story to a friend in a pub, and also tried to change the ending to one where he survives by escaping the freezer. But in the end, reality won out. This is all an intentional reference to (
https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/An_Occurrence_at_Owl_Creek_Bridge) Bierce's famous short story.
By the way,
the haunted training dummies (not just the ones at the end, there are a few other times they appear during the story) represent reality trying to assert itself and wake him up.

But I - maybe among other players - scream for revenge,
I would really like to see a revenge on the doctor. I also know that it would kill this story, but I would like to say that playing this level is loads of fun, but the end and the fact that the "doctor" wins makes the player feel a bit injustice.

Amazing mission

I have technical problem with this mission. In warehouse after listening to victrola, big crate near gear lock should become frobbable. But it doesn't work for me. I tried both Tafferpatcher and T2Fix plus updated scripts. But result is the same. Also restarting my laptop fixed some problems I had, but not this one. I played this mission couple of years ago on older laptop and it worked fine, so I wonder why mission doesn't work for my current laptop.

I just had this problem in Seven Sisters and had to delete an old script in the FMs folder. Even though TFix installs new scripts, if the zip includes an old one it overrides it. After I removed it, the items became frobbable.

Yes, I noticed that 3 script files use different names than scripts from bundle of newest scripts: tnhS.osm, NVS110.osm and genp.osm. I changed newest scripts to these names, but crate is still unfrobbable. So now I used your advice and the only script that doesn't appear in newest bundle of scripts is PUB.osm. Removing it doesn't affect the mission, which means that crate is still unfrobbable.

Which big crate? The one with the gear under it? I've just replayed and that crate moves for me.
Newdark appears to be a little sod sometimes, have you got a save, will ask Glypher to look into it.

Here are (
https://drive.google.com/drive/folders/1ZEX7iZt5ErM4_lX-36e-pdQNVJWIWTqX?usp=sharing) 2 saves from before and after listening to victrola. These saves are from Tafferpatcher as mission works even worse for me on T2Fix (I can freely move during conversation at the beginning). Also one thing, klatremus mentioned that T2Fix exchanges scripts to newest, but I reinstalled this mission and it has the same old scripts. So T2Fix didn't install new scripts for me.

The crate moves with both saves.
The crate only highlights when you standing on the east side of the crate and you need to be relatively close to it before it highlights.
Looking at my files T2Fix has installed the newest scripts (tnhS.osm, NVS110.osm and genp.osm) so looks like your game isn't loading those scripts and this is likely to be your problem. Maybe an idea to check if those scripts load using a fresh T2 install patched with either T2Fix ND_1.27d or e (basically the same but 'e' has more dml's in it) and do not load any mods. If that works then it would suggest your current T2 install is broken in someway.
