I was properly chilled almost all the way to the bone - excellent work! When those lights suddenly turned off I found myself frozen and holding my breath for a couple of seconds, and I considered myself too much of a pompous Thief and horror "veteran" to do that anymore. Thanks for proving I'm not all that jaded yet. :D

This mission was TERRIFYING- probably the best shock/horror FM I've played since "Deceptive Perception" back in the day, and that's saying a lot! Just a few choice moments I loved:
1. The webbed corpse coming back to life right at the end. Didn't see that one coming at all, brilliant touch!
2. The zombie in the prison area. I fully expected him to stand up as I walked by, I was pleasantly surprised when he randomly exploded instead. I wish I could do that...it would be an awesome party trick.
3. Every instance where you grab loot and a monster appears. It was starting to make me REALLY paranoid.
4. The room where the lights shut off, followed by the sound of footsteps approaching. Led to me yelling "OH SHI-" and sitting there with my sword out waiting around for a minute or so for something that never happened. You sir, are a master of horror.
And...wait a minute...there's a contest coming up in a few months? Since when?

On the back of this I think we're going to see some superb missions coming from DarkMax.
And I'm glad that him and PsymH released these gems this month to put paid to that no more fm's worry.
(and on the no more fm's thing, there's a a treat coming from Italy soon that's going to satisfy even the most jaded taffers out there)

Anyways, thank you for the new mission, hope i will finish it someday if only i can get over my arachnophobia, but for now i explored at least 3 rooms.
