I'm having some problems with the amount of light in this mission. It seems like every important room -- e.g., the Portico room -- is brilliantly lit with half a dozen torches and two blazing braziers, with no shadows and AI looking everywhichway. I don't have anywhere near enough water arrows to douse every flame.
Is there something I'm missing here? I found a couple of invisibility potions in the armory; but I'm hoping to ghost, and I prefer not to use chemical substitutes for sneaking.
In fact, even were I not ghosting, I would be running into problems with the number of lights.
Since nobody else has mentioned this, I assume I'm doing something wrong. Can someone clue me in, please?

I was able to make my way through the Portico room, taking the gold skeleton, the Portico Room key, and the Darkthrone Room key; I made my way across the Darkthrone room and picked up the Water Shrine key on the throne; then, when I got to the other side (taking the moss and water arrows from the chests on either side of the elevated "stage"), I frobbed the book on the lectern; this allowed me to take the elemental icons.
I went through the gear-lock door, around the balcony, and up to the Water Shrine. But when I got there, the lock still would not highlight, and I cannot open it with the key. Is there yet another thing I'm suposed to do down in the throne room in order to "activate" the shrine?
This is very puzzling. I'm still working on a clean ghost, and I want to keep it up!

[SPOILER]you can enter the water shrine from the floor at the library, the upper door is only an exit door from the tower to the castle topside, if you climb up to the upper level of the shrine with a rope arrow through the water[/SPOILER]

in all sincerity I don't know how many loots are in the level:cheeky: this is a 'non steal' based mission and I don't planned to put loots in it.
Eszter was kidnapped and your primary objective in the next, final part is that find it. Soon... ;)

Where is this shrine? The only area left for me is a locked door with an unfrobabble elemental key hole next to it, near the Earth Shrine and Dark Portal. I already summoned Belial. Now what do I do?

If I recall correctly you need to go up on the balcony above the throne room. There's a door there that was locked before that isn't now.

The 'hearts', book on the lectern and the water key disappear for me. They were there on the first few loads I did but now they aren't there at all, as I enter the room. I can't complete the mission :(
