First, just to make sure you're at the correct place, the spot you need to blow up is to the right after you enter the graveyard. There's a cave entrance blocked by boulders and there are fire arrows lying on the ground in front of it. If that's where you are, then you just have to put the cannister on the ground in front of the boulders and blow it up with a fire arrow. I didn't find it particularly picky about exactly where the explosive was placed.

I just finished playing the FM "Dyer's Eve", I guess it's a few years old but I've never heard of it! Anyway, i just have to say this FM was friggen awsome, some very cool sneaking and it was scary as hell almost all the way through . BTW...Wynne, your voices in this FM are seriously messed up..."Do...you...think...I'm..preeettyyyyy..." Terrifying stuff, why isn't this FM more well-known!? Just had to post that. Thanks to Silver Sorrow for reviewing it at Hangar 16 so I could know about it. :thumb: Best.....zombie voices....ever!!!
Sluggs on 4/11/2003 at 02:19
A spooky mission? Yay! I'm in the dark here too. I haven't seen this one either. Off i goto get more info! :D That speech you mentioned, is it an ugly female zombie perchance? :laff:
Dang! I can't seem to find it! :(

I've played it, and I must say it's one of the spookier FM's out there. I never could figure out the portal puzzle though, but I still had a blast. I hope Metalhead makes a sequel!
Sluggs on 4/11/2003 at 02:22
Oh no, a Portal puzzle you say? :o
SlyFoxx on 4/11/2003 at 02:34
It's a tough one. A search here should help you through the portal if need be. This one scared me a lot. Went through three pairs of shorts.:o Some nifty AI's and limited resourses. There is a trick to help you through but you might not find it until after you really need it.
@Sluggs...but don't worry there is no salt in this one.

And thanks for the plug! :cheeky:
Really, I do hope this series isn't truly dead, just on...hiatus, as it were. Metalhead has this innate talent for scaring and/or confounding the bejeebus out of people.

I wouldn't hold your breath. Out of curiosity, I checked Metalhead's profile and his last post was June, 2002, so it's doubtful he's still working on Thief missions. I suppose he could always come back, though.
