Done.
I definately want to play this mission again. All loot and all objectives done, but only with help. 6/7 secrets found. They were good secrets too. Did anyone get all 7?

How goes the translation? I'm chomping at the bit for this one!

The English version has already been through a couple of proofreading and testing stages and is about ready to go (many thanks to the encouragement and supportive work done by Stefan Kay, Nightwalker and her husband Bernie). A German translation is also in the works and both of these translations will be combined with the French version and released as a single tr-lingual FM.

Looks like I should have waited for the English version.... Nevertheless, I just finished it in the French / babelfish version today, and I thought it was a superb mission and huge fun to play. :D I'll definitely play it again when the English version comes out.
I completed it with zero damage and no alerts except for the three at the exit door. I got 2774 / 2984 loot but only 4 of 7 secrets. Got a lot of help from this thread, too. I needed help with
mantling over the torch (very touchy and difficult for me - it took many tries to find the sweet spot), the wine bottle sequence, and where to find the real dewdrop. The dancing dewdrop following me around really made me laugh. The drunk with the bucket on his head wasn't half bad either.:)
(bump)
Just wanting to keep this alive, as I am one of those who are waiting patiently for the English version!
I started the French version, and almost immediately decided that I didn't want to play without having any idea of the plot.
Any news on the progress?
Cheers!

Last thing I heard, it was well on it's way to being done. However, I don't know how long the German translation is taking and I believe that Gaetane is going to make the new version tri-lingual, so we'll just have to wait and see. :)
DreamWalker on 26/6/2003 at 17:38
Gaëtane is planning to release the French-English version soon. Not sure when but she wants to get out before she goes on her holidays. :D
And oh yes, before I forget, this is not the end of L'Arsène or Emilie Victor. Gaëtane is planning to create at least another marvellous sequel. :)
