Other than the banners, I've ghosted so far. I'm in the Hall of Howling Statues, but I can't figure out how the mute must sacrifice to open the barrier behind the face straight across from the door.

I'll look through this group, now that I'm far enough along and see if it's been discussed.

Yes, I found that answer by looking earlier in this thread. Yeesh.

Obviously I didn't ghost; I believe this FM is not ghostable, as there are actually three places where property damage is required to proceed.

But I invented a new mode of play: Contingent Ghost (pat. pending). I define this as ghosting everything that is physically possible to ghost in an FM, and only being busted in areas that are actually required to achieve the objectives... but not specifically demanded by the objectives.

Thus, knocking out L'Arsene in L'Arsene does not bust your ghost, in my opinion, because one of the objectives is to "catch" him -- and that can only mean by knocking him out.

But in Emilie Victor, you have to slash two banners and smash a pedestal, none of which is in any way referred to by the objectives... so you can't ghost it. But I achieved Contingent Ghost by ghosting all other parts of the FM.

I got the Mask of Tequila (whatever) by using rope arrows in the tower. I guess (from your earlier statement) there was an easier way.

Since I'm not likely to work my way back to the ghost world :eww: , now that I've finished the FM, can you tell me what you mean by going into the dining room and looking up? Is there a ladder or somesuch? Is this one of the secrets I missed?

Edit: I found an old savegame; I'm standing in the upstairs dining room in the ghost world, on top of the table with the chair sitting atop it. I'm looking up at the ceiling. What am I looking for? (I already got the mask in this savegame... does that affect what I'm supposed to see?)

Edit five minutes later: Ah. Okay, I see.

[spoiler]One of the ceiling tiles has a smaller circle in the middle than the others. Standing directly underneath it, I could frob it... it recessed into the ceiling, and I was able to rope up into a passageway that led to a ladder, which in turn led to the top of the tower, where (I presume) I could have grabbed the mask without wasting a rope arrow.[/spoiler]

However, it didn't give me a "secret found" chime. So where are all the other secrets?
