In the room with the spider, above the fireplace where the safe was in the "normal" world, in the room with the frogbeasts? I haven't found any metal plate up to now and I'm gettig extremely frustrated.
Finally I've finished this FM.
I have to say it was astounding how much was fitted into 3.64MB! The area was much larger than I expected. Great set piece events and some really humorous AI. One of the best and most interesting FMs.
However, it was also the most frustrating mission that I've been bothered to finish. I've got about 250 FMs and I've never had so many mysterious quests with so few, and so obsure, clues. It was very Tomb Raideresque from that perspective. In web navigation we call it 'mystery meat'. It was only their cleverness that kept me going. That and the help of these forums, since most of the secrets had to be researched here.
It was a pity, since the rest of the mission was great. If I ever release my own FM I'll make sure that I:
a) Provide plenty of clues.
b) Provide alternative routes.
Excellent fun, though. Well done Gaëtane.

DAMNIT! I will not stop with this bloody mission!!!!!! I REFUSE! It's really cool and I want to finish it . . . but after literally having my hand held on what to do by this thread I just want to scream. I've been working on this thing for 3 days now, and I reloaded the game while I was in the boarded up ghost room.
:joke:
I honestly don't really remember how I completed the objectives and got to where I was. Has there been a walkthrough written for this devil? Or a short list of things you must do to advance? And where exactly do you find DeLoret so you can steal his key? The objective is complete but I have absolutely no clue when this happened.
Has anyone been able to fix this damned bug? Or perhaps is it possible to go into DromEd and mess with the map so that the boards go bye bye? I really don't want to restart . . . in fact I think I'll just play some other missions until I calm myself down a bit. Maybe I'll even *gasp* play the OMs! :o

I've beeen playing the mission for a bit over an hour now and I've gotten stuck. I've cleared out the mansion/mannor/whatever you might call it except for a wooden door upstairs leading south, an unhighlighting wood/glass door downstairs leading south as well, and a unhighlighting metal door downstairs leading east. In the last door I mentioned, there was a glitch and i was able to lean forward through the door and see that the rooms beyond went South. Anyway, I don't have a key to get through any of these doors and I can't find a way to move South at all. Maybe its a secret passage I'm missing or just a key I neglected to pick up or something. The next objective is "After your done, get through to large front gate." The large front gate leads North I beleive and it doesn't look like thats the way I need to go but even if it was I can't get through that either. I'm assuming I need to complete the more southernly objectives first. Any help would be much appriciated. Thanks.

Welcome to the forum! :)
Did you get into
Lady Cunegonde’s Suite, upstairs? You have to get in through a secret passageway in the hallway downstairs.
The way into the next portion of the mission is in there. If you haven't figured out how to get into there yet,
go into the hallway downstairs that's on the opposite side of the front foyer from the kitchen. Go into the door at the end (unlocks with a key you probably have already found, which was sitting on a windowsill in the room with the Dewdrop doll on the bench. (Slash the banner on the wall to the right of the door before you go in.) Slash a banner on the wall and flip a lever. Back out in the hallway, you'll see a secret door behind the first banner you slashed.
Once you're in her rooms,
look for a button behind a statue in the sitting room. It opens a panel at the far end of the room and the room beyond overlooks a theatre. At the far end of the room, there's a ladder you can climb to access the theatre. Go out the far end and you'll be in another section of the grounds.
