No, I thought that too. You need to put it on top of the tombstone, or at the bottom. I can't remember. Just try a lot, crouch or whatever. I had the same problem once. I hope it helps!

I'm replaying this today on a whim, one of my favourite FMs ever. This FM is so clever & imaginative in so many ways, but the dream world bumps it to legendary status.
Edit. One addition to the official wakkthru. When it mentions "Emilie is sending Mr. Plonk(?)", you can delete the question mark and add that "Mr. Plonk only arrives after you summon Maurice. Then he will help you fight." It's one of the most exciting parts of the mission, so it's too bad the walkthru skipped over it.

Wow this FM is fantastic. I'm pretty hard when it comes to rating FMs in my list and I've only ever given a perfect 5 to Ominous Bequest and the new Feast of Pilgrims of the Anniversary Contest. However, I just played L'Arsene and Emilie Victor in the past week and both of these were 5's in my book. So this author is batting 2/2, absolutely incredible. Can't wait to play the rest in this series and really anything made by this author : )

The best is yet to come, IMO! The Den and some (but not all) of the missions from The Black Frog are absolute masterpieces. I never got quite as into Korrigans or L'Arsene, though they were definitely good missions.

It´s the exact contrary for me. L´arsene is one of my all time favourites, 10/10 for sure. I love black frog and emilie victor aswell, but l´arsene is the top of the iceberg for me:cheeky:

Well I am replaying some Thief Missions I haven't played in a while and this is one of them. Actually I am kind of doing things in reverse order this time. I played The Black Frog first and then this one. Guess I will go to L'Arsenne next. Still dynamite plays ! Gaetane, if you are still around, my thanks for the Great FM's ! :cool:

Believe it or not, but I have never played The 4-part L'Arsene series. It is on my short list of about 30 missions I've got planned for the next year or so.
Did you try to Supreme the Black Frog, Sneak? It's a pickle, I'll tell you that much. But at least it's a sweet one... :laff:

I did Supreme in some areas for grins but did not play The Black Frog as a Supreme run so nothing I did qualifies. Though I did have inspiration on Supreming The Portrait in The Portrait. I did work on it for a while and my inspiration seems promising. So I kept 4 solid hard saves so I can go back to it. There are things to overcome there.

How to successfully supreme ghost getting the portrait is one of those moves I am most proud of in all my ghosting career. I probably feel about that the same way you feel about Golden Boy or Unhooking the Caboose.
How do you guys rank L'Arsene, Emilie Victor, The Goblins and The Den? And how do they hold up compared to the Black Frog?
