ULib said to go upstairs and climb a fence to reach a room to obtain the bottle. I cannot find a fence to climb in the upstairs area. Just rooms and passages. Where is this "fence"? Thank you.

Where is this "fence"? Thank you.
Did you reach the shadow environment yet where it is snowing? The fence that is talked about is located at the top of the big stairs in the house where your started but then in the shadow environment. This fence can also be opened by giving flowers to the girl in the kitchen. The flowers can be obtained in the room where you started the game. So don't blackjack the girl. After you gave her the flowers (put them in the bowl in front of her) she will open the gate for you so you don't have to climb the torches.
I also have some questions of my own. I am
in the shaddow environment, I got the burick head but cannot go back to the original level. I also miss a siver gear and I cannot open the metal door downstairs in the house with the library.
I hope someone has a clue

Long Finger, I have already knocked out the girl. Where are these torches I have to
climb now to get to this shadow environment? Thank you.

Silent_Warrior
You find another DewDrop later on. You need to go into DeLoret's house, find the Library and check it carefully. There's a way into the boarded up room upstairs and that will get you to DewDrop.

To access the shaddow environment you have to find a graveyard. You also have to find dewdrop (the red doll) and use it on the tombstone. There you find the access to the shadow environment. Yo must not blackjack the girl and the servant and the guard with the buckethead
I still cannot find the silver gear myself....

I can help you as a proofreader, not as a
grammarian proofreader, but as a
semantic proofreader (sorry for those repetitions).
So the english translation will stick closely to the original French without any meaning loss. The story made by Gaëtane is great.
Sometimes the phrases are hard to understand, I can make suggestions if you need them...

That's terrific! I'll look forward to playing the mission again and enjoying the story, as I did in L'Arsene. Judging from the amount of texts, there's quite a bit to read in this one as well. :)

Does anybody know where to find the silver gear or how to open the barred metal door? (see a few messages back for details)
DreamWalker on 25/5/2003 at 17:51
Thanks and expect me to take you up on the offer, Stefan_Key. :) Meaning is more important than a word for word translation ... especially colloguialisms ... and Gaëtane's vocabulary is much more extensive than mine (French may be my SPOKEN mother tongue but I'm more comfortable writing in English).
Nightwalker and her husband (MoonLight :D ) have already voluntiered to do the grammatical proof reading and betatesting. So now, all we need is Gaëtane's go-ahead. Meanwhile, in anticipation of a yes .... ;)
