From Goliks Journal...
"The digit to go at the front of the combination is a 3, I'm sure of it. The end digit is either a 5 or a 9, but the stone has been slightly worn away in that place, so I can't be sure. Now I just have to find the damn map! I'm just going to take a couple of hours nap, then I'll see if I can't find it."
And the two maps put together has the number 813795
We know that the very first number is 3 and the last number is either a 5 or 9 What you need to do then is append them onto the numbers... NOT replace them.
So you get the combination of [spoiler]38137955 OR 38137959[/spoiler]

No, it's not that one. If you've found the bones, you're not far from it. Crawl back out the first hole you come to after you've picked up the bones and turn left (I think). There's a round room with a central piece of floor that is surrounded by lava and patrolled by a couple of undead. Check around in there.

er... too much caffeine and a wired late night evil plan. Other than that, I'm not 100% sure.
I started by making all the doors in a row, then setting the switches to control one door and the one next to it, except the last one, which only controlled the last door.
Then I jumbled the switches and doors all about.
