I can't even find Sergio! Or the note about burying him -- though I know where he's supposed to go. Can someone please give me directions from some very visible landmark?

You seem to be running the gamut of possible problems with FMs, G S :p
- Try using DL 4.3.
- Are you sure you have all the (
http://thiefmissions.com/scripts/) latest scripts? (oh, & convict.osm - sorry, can't find it at the moment)
- Have you tried a full re-install of Thief 2?
Also, if you play T2X, you're well-advised to play it right through (
not interspersing playing it with other FMs) - after which a T2 re-install is the most thorough way to clean up afterwards, because, as I understand it, T2X apparently leaves stuff behind which may not be easy to get rid of by other means.

i really think i need to find the gremlin that MUST be lurking around here, gotta be in the immed. vicinity of my pc!
i gotta be missing some scripts for GYY somehow then (because the other FM's are not having that no text problem), though i did dl the zip from thiefmissions, and you are the second person to suggest DL over GL, is GL really not that great in comparison?
i do have convict.osm, otherwise, would'nt i be having same probs in other FM's?
i will finish T2x before doing any other FM, does using the uninstaller for T2x still leave stuff behind?
