T2 FM: Gerrard's Temple (Oct. 30, 2003) - by jericho

It sounds like you're missing the crypt key. It's
hidden in a secret room off of a bedroom near the church. It's not a special bedroom, just a plain one. . There’s a lever on the wall by the end of the right-hand bed.
You guessed it, Lobster.:) Gerrard is a dupicitous writer -- one copy for the public snooper, and one copy for private use.
Look behind the dresser in Gerrard's bedroom.
Well, I also found only one diary on the desk and no Tower key. And, please, what is a dresser (Missing vocabulary)? Is the "Kleiderschrank" meant? There is no "behind", for it is standing on the wall. Also I didn't find anything else in the bedroom. I have searched Father Gerrard's bedroom very carefully but didn't find them...
I have the crypt key but I don't find the entrance to the crypt. The only switch I have found in the altar room is the one that is opening the hole in the wall where some gold was. In this hole was also a key where I don't know where it fits.

A "dresser" is a piece of furniture, that usually has drawers in it that you can store clothing in. The switch is there, as mentioned in the quote above so you'll have to check Father Gerrard's room again. If you still can't find it, email me and I'll take a screenshot for you.
You have to find the Tower key before you'll find where to use the Crypt key.

Had a great time replaying this one. Looks tame when you first get into it but there is a lot packed into this so called "tiny" FM. Some of the switches are very hard to find; and the evil twins, if aroused, were downright scary .. and unstoppable.
This splendid FM was meant to be an introduction to an upcoming campaign ... what happened??

You do realise that this thread is al least four years old?
Seth Vilverin on 20/4/2008 at 22:49
Ah the good old days =) seems like forever.
Well, I will tell you what happened. The grand campaign was cancelled due to people dropping off the project. We had developed many great storylines (I'm particularly proud of them) but the project sadly never fell through.
If people still are interested in storlylines for FMs, I will gladly work on them.

Ganac: Really no offense, but:
So what if it is? :cheeky:
I do also play a lot of older FM's again ánd again .... It's great that we honour them ánd the Taffers who made them. :thumb:
It took a lot of hard work to complete them and as Mr. Eiffel was proud of his Tower in Paris, so will many Taffers be proud of their "homemade" games for us!
I know I was glad to be able to write a bit of a storyline for a FM .... and am also very happy  :thumb: That Taffers build their missions, including my lovely Dewdrop dolly .... and even more ...
:thumb: :thumb: :thumb: for all of them!

I couldn't put it better myself, Gloria.:thumb:
The simple answer, Ganac, is yes (we are, after all, encouraged to use existing threads). I've also found that whenever someone else re-opens a thread for a FM that I'd played previously and have since forgotten about that it often encourages me to play it again.
Thank you Seth for the update. Sorry about the project being dropped ... especially given the FM's well done multi-faceted storyline. Eye candy is nice; however, a truly great FM has a story that captivates the player both mentally and emotionally.
