I seem to have a problem: When ever I load a new mission, the HDM main screen appears instead of the regular one. In game health bar is the red line, and I have no light gem. Remedies, please?

Are you going back and reloading the original mission before loading up a new mission ? That should restore the original items, and keep the custom main screen from appearing.

I debated all throughout the testing process whether to include a readable clue in that room to guide people to finding the secret, but went instead with a more obtuse yet obvious clue - just jump on the unlit brazier and you'll realize what to do with the sandbag.

Dang, Yandros, you are the only author who consistently makes missions I play through multiple times (within a short time span). I almost never play missions more than once unless my saves are corrupted and I am looking for getting all the loot or its been enough time since the last time I played a mission (and then only if it is good). Let's see; RGB was great, What Lies Below was excellent (top of FMs I've played), Dancing with the Dead I would play more if it just wasn't so big (which big isn't a bad time of course) but it was an awesome FM as well, love both Thief's Holiday FMs, Burrick's Head Inn was a fun little mission and I loved the pool Easter Egg, Requiem for a Thief was very enjoyable...and I could go on but I have gone way off track.
Anyway, I still haven't found any of the secrets (except the easter egg cache of weapons, which I found by accident), but your missions always have the most difficult to find secrets of all of the FMs.
But in any case, this mission provides a lot of combat in a small space, so I finally can stop relying on huge combat-filled missions like Dancing with the Dead and Playground of Doom or the too basic creature clash 2 to let my bloodlust :ebil: .
Can't wait for your next release.
Edit: 8 MISSIONS!!!! You must be glutton for punishment.

I'm glad you enjoy my missions, it makes it all worthwhile to hear someone say that! :cheeky: Actually, this is my 11th mission if you don't count Heist Society, which was mostly AsyluM's, and I was only part of the team which completed it.
My next release should be Deceptive Perception 2, which I've made good progress on while off work the last few days.

My next release should be
Deceptive Perception 2Finally, hope this doesn't take
another year be released (not that I'm ungrateful or anything, but how long has it been, two years?)
Yandros on 24/11/2007 at 15:39
Yes, about that. I obviously made several other missions before turning to it, and have no excuses other than that's what I wanted to do.
Iceblade on 24/11/2007 at 18:46
I meant 8 missions that you are currently working on (or at least haven't abandoned).

Sorry, that didn't do anything.
