WOW !!! Another 'thief highway'... Great experience, Camus.
However I'm short of loot... :(
How to open the locked door at the 3rd floor above pub ???
Emerald Wolf on 12/10/2008 at 09:50
On the pub's 3rd floor you can blow the door open with a mine and fire arrow, if you don't mind being noisy. There's probably a key for it somewhere, but I couldn't find it.

If you're talking about the floor with the man sleeping on the bed, then there's a key in that room, rather cunningly hidden.

Also on that floor in the pub is a storage room with a lever. The lever can be heard to open something. Has anyone figured out what it opens?

You're testing my memory now - I think it opens the hatch to the attic - possibly?
Sticky Fingers on 12/10/2008 at 12:13
Yeah - it raises / lowers a ladder which is against the south wall.

Thanks Emerald Wolf.
Does anybody have secret's list ?
Sticky Fingers on 12/10/2008 at 13:24
Secrets:-
- Jones' house, 1st level up from street, button by a window.
- Building imm west of Lord Wizer's (with com-bot parts), room with sitting archer, button behind desk.
- Lord Wizer's, storeroom on same level as kitchen & servant's quarters, button on pillar.
- Rooftops (with lots of crates) above where thief archer patrols, go as far east as possible, switch behind barrel.

Finished.
Nice first mission and much larger then expected. Located all 4 secrets as well as the hard to find Dewdrop doll :D
A lot of equipment lying around, but hardly situations for which it was necessary to use them. Except for the rope arrows.
Beside the criticism already mentioned, I experienced some framerate drops at certain points and spend too much time figuring out how to get onto that balcony :p. Also I found the sky a bit distracting.
But beside this nothing really bothered me. Sure, a map would be handy and some extra challenges on higher difficulties wouldn't have been a bad thing, but for a first mission this is well beyond average.
I loved the rooftop exploration (and the views it provides), the variation of indoor and outdoor locations, and some of the scenes in combination with readables (3 guards with fire arrows + one burglar carrying explosives = a bad combination) :laff:
Furthermore I liked the references to the fall of the Mechanist order, and the introduction promises enough background for an interesting campaign.
Thanks for taking the time to release this, Camus :thumb:.
Now that you're back into dromEd, I hope you continue on the sequel you originally planned.

I thought it was a great mission! The only problem I had was a frame rate drop in wizers house that made it unplayable. It started when I got to the kitchen area, and food storeroom. I just reloaded a save from before I entered the building and everything was fine then. Glad to know I was not the only one to hit this.
I do look forward to the sequel. Oh and I gotta also give props for the excellent thieves highway areas.
