I found the pirate treasure, but where is
A Pirate's Tale part 3? Please give some direct hints.
Go back to the entrance to the underwater cave leading to the key part formed as a skull, but instead of following the same route as before (after having passed through the narrow entrance), go up through a vertical cave until you reach the water surface.

where it begins to the side of the cell, there are a mouse and two coins behind a railing. How to get there?
Already scoured all ventilation and nothing...

Hint:
The pipes go way downSpoiler:
From the sewer you climb up.
Maybe you got confused like I did most of the time when I played.;)
My virtual memory is lacking at the moment. So I ended up running around in circles. Not just in the sewer, but especially later on:(

General tips:
* On Expert, there are a few puzzles that are much harder than the others, so, if you don't enjoy puzzling a lot, then play on either Normal or Hard (where the worst puzzles are a lot easier). If you, despite the warnings, choose to play on Expert, be prepared to get frustrated.
* If you like puzzling a lot and analyzing everything around you, and want a lot fewer clues, don't bother with Normal or Hard, and go straight to Expert.
* This mission is not something you will casually run through on a coffee break. You will need to become part of the world you're thrown into: Get to know the locals. Explore the buildings first and the ocean last. Take your time - or you will most likely miss useful stuff.
* If a problem arises, chances are that the solution is nearby, so start by looking around you. Then widen your circles. Think about how things might work on these islands.
* If you are looking for something mentioned in a readable, chances are that it can be found nearby, so start there.
* Clues are all around: Read everything (especially readables in your inventory). Look at everything. Remember what you see.
* Find the lantern before you leave the prison. Entering a pitch dark area without a permanent lightsource is not recommended. Flares are good for temporarily marking spots or for checking deep holes, but, for everything else, the lantern will come in very handy (because it never burns out).
* Think twice before you enter an unknown area, especially if someone warns you about entering it. Prepare yourself with whatever you can find.
* This mission could perhaps be called a bit old-school, because you are not always being told what to do. Some of the things you need to interact with won't hilight, so you will have to think about what each piece do and if interacting with it is meaningful. Don't worry so much about what you are supposed to do; "just do it" and enjoy your freedom. Most things can be undone. If you don't know what to do next, think about if there are any areas left to explore (or which could be explored more) or re-read the readables already in your inventory.
* Mixing two liquids is done in three steps:
* Find an empty vial.
* Frob the first liquid container with the empty vial and you will get a new vial containing the first liquid.
* Frob the second liquid container with the vial given to you in the previous step.
* When frobbing an item in your inventory, make sure that it is in focus first.
* Pipes and chains are climbable.
* "Sorrow can be a pretty destructive force."
* "Learn to stop worrying and love the darkness." ;)
It is possible, though, that my monitor is unusually bright (even on its lowest brightness setting) and HI therefore a lot darker, than I imagined it to be, on other monitors, so you might want to adjust your monitor's brightness if you find HI to be crazy dark.

Step #1: Calm down; you will need it later.
First...I am calm. Stop assuming things. And stop being arrogant. I always post this way...

Step #2: Download the latest script modules (linked to in the first post) - including NVScript 1.24.
How to download NVScript 1.24 via the provided link:
1. Click the link in the first post.
2. Scroll down to NV's post, to which NVScript 1.24 is attached.
3. Click the attachment link.
4. Login to TTLG when prompted to do so, or else you will not be able to download the attachment.
Here's a direct link to NVScript 1.24:

Second, I tried to do this...it still says I do not have permission.
So for some reason, I cannot get to it.
I am not stupid...if I am saying it will not let me download the link.. that is exactly what I mean.
Here's PROOF in case you need it!
meyou123, you do not have permission to access this page. This could be due to one of several reasons:
Your user account may not have sufficient privileges to access this page. Are you trying to edit someone else's post, access administrative features or some other privileged system?
If you are trying to post, the administrator may have disabled your account, or it may be awaiting activation.
My account is intact and I am not trying to edit someone else's post. So I have no idea why it still will not let me download the link....it should not be rocket science people....I should have been able to have been logged in and downloaded the link. Simple! But it is not that way.

Fantastic mission! And scary! Been having a TON of fun, at first on my own for about 6 gaming hours, then gradually nabbing spoilers from this thread. I have plenty more to work with now in the caves of the small island, but I am trying to wrap up some other stuff for now.
I've assembled the
pirate key (found only one piece myself, the one in another watery cave). The only red X-es I've seen are on the treasure map, no others. Anyway, I am stumped by the
colored boxes puzzle. Been trying with
having the colours follow the order of colours in a rainbow, from one direction, then tried the other. No success. I have no idea what the switch below the buttons does either.

So, about the pirate's
coloured crates puzzle:
Look at the
colours before and after: do you perhaps notice a difference
in how they are ordered?
Before and after WHAT??
They have never changed orders.

Well, posting in all upper case is the internet equivalent of screaming - and people who are screaming are seldom calm, but you are supposedly the exception then.

You will have to sort that out with the forum administration. In the meantime, you can download the latest version of NVScript by clicking the following link:

If you are playing on Expert, the red Xs
appear only on the treasure map.
The switch
resets the puzzle.

You say that you are seeing the buttons, so you must have done something special to reveal them, and before you did that special thing, did you notice the order of the colours? Compare that with the order you see now (with the buttons revealed).

I do not need your sermon. It is trolling.... you also know what that is I assume? As in trolling for a fight?

@qolelis & urgrue: Thanks! (keeping savegames are more important than usual in this mission, I see)
