T2 FM: Heartcliff Islands (August 21st, 2015)

I have upgraded to NewDark 1.23, added the scripts in the opening post, and it still won't run.

NewDark 1.22 has run everything up to this point just fine.

edit: And I'm using FMsel.

On the plus side, the upgrade to 1.23 does not appear to have broken any earlier missions I've played.

So, what am I missing?

What happens when you try to load HI? Does Thief crash? Do you hear sounds, but without seeing anything (or maybe the objectives screen stays while sounds are playing as if the mission had loaded)? What part of HI is malfunctioning? More details about the issue will make it easier for me to find out what's wrong.

I have a strange problem now. Whenever I enter the 'Heart Realm', my whole inventory disappears. Both the items and the weapons. I have been in here twice earlier and it was no problem those times.

I have (as far as I know) installed all the mentioned scripts.

Like urgrue said, the inventory is supposed to be emptied when you enter the other realm, because it's a "pretty special place", (and then restored when you return to "our" realm). If it isn't emptied, then that is unfortunate, but acceptable. Did you by any chance go back and forth quickly? Have you ever experienced the inventory not being restored correctly when you return?

I apologize for any inconvenience. I've never seen the same behaviour myself, but I was going to replace it all with a custom script to make it more fail-safe, but the whole set-up turned out pretty complicated and then the deadline was quickly approaching, so I ran out of time.

Ah, OK. Too bad I didn't work harder to get rid of those haunts when I had a sword, then. :ebil:

Nope, all those old saves are overwritten now.
