I have no gems, just the idea of where to find them.
In the ventilation tunnels, I found a note about a treasure map, not a map itself. This was early on.
I actually have not found the foreseer, which is the only main objective I haven't completed. Have about 3200+ loot, so I'm pushing for that 4000. Yes, I play on expert.
There was one door in the floor below the archer area in the prison I never opened. I found a Gavin? key or something which is the only key I haven't tried to open that door. I have a total of 12 keys.
Was I supposed to kill the zombie woman at the bottom of the prison? If that was one of the endings, then she's been blown up with a fire arrow. Oh, well.
I'll play around with the 5 depressed areas where I got the 2 hearts. I need to see if something I have to drop will actually lower them though. I think I dropped an empty vial and it wasn't heavy enough.
I'll play around some more and see if I progress. If I am still frustrated, I'll post some more. If the vanishing map issue is the only problem that occurred I can live with that. Thanks.

I've been reading the thread. I went to the warden dining room and the 4 windows don't highlight for me either. I don't think they did in the beginning before I even went to the 2nd island because I would have noticed.
So I'm assuming I can't find the combination to the safe. I have a feeling things are bugged. Am I supposed to be able to pick up dead rats? They highlight, but I can't pick them up. Also, I opened the guard captain safe early on by just frobbing it, not using it as a secret. I remember having a problem opening the bread when I first started, and did something I think to a file to get it to work. I'm going to look at the first page and see what was suggested. Maybe I need to do something else.
I didn't remember, but I installed a different mission. All my scripts had changed. I tried putting the ones you linked back, but it isn't working. Am I going to have to start over? If so, I'll probably hold off before trying this again. At least I have a good handle on the entire mission on where things are. Just frustrating that I can't continue. Maybe the other person with the 4 windows had the same issue.

Before going any further, would you pm me with a save that illustrates these problems? I can take a look and get back to you with my recommendations.

A few days ago I did find a body by a sunken ship, but the stupid worm gets me once the burrick pea wears off. Thanks for mentioning this area. :thumb: I had totally forgotten about it during my second playthrough. That's where most of my missing loot was hiding.
I'm at 6999/7014 now. Probably missing three coins or copper coinstacks.

There is a bug when entering/exiting the special realm accessible via a red heart floating inside a red cloud, so, if you encounter this heart, please consider postponing any interactions with it until later to avoid any side-effects (especially maps disappearing). Entering the special realm is necessary only if you want all the alternative endings, so you can still finish the mission (with the standard ending plus one more) without entering.
I would like to reiterate and emphasise most sincerely that you will break
all maps, not just ones accessible via the M-key, if you do what is described here too soon.
Please make sure that you
* find all maps,
* use them successfully and completely, or, at least,
* take screenshots of them,
before going to that place, otherwise you may end up :( or :grr: or what could be worse .
Now run away, and enjoy many, many happy hours of fun-filled orienteering. :cheeky:

hello there.
Could you please post a walkthrough for this mission please.
I cannot even get out of the cell at the start.
Thanks

AFAIK there is no walkthrough, yet. :ebil:
First, make sure you have the right scripts. See [post=2294605]here[/post].
If all has gone well, then
frob the bread in your inventory to obtain
the file.
Use the file on the bars to obtain
your (relative) freedom.

Frob the
blessed water fountain with the
ink.
No.
One way to obtain
burnt remains is to
take some remains and
burn them.
Both before and after are possible.
There is a way to
improve your health. Find it, and all will be as clear as day.
Thanks urgrue.
I was finally able to end this mission. After 14 hours and 38 minutes of gameplay. I didn't even know that I was so close to the ending. At first, I
didn't allow the "white fog" bolt to hit me, because afterwards my vision was obstructed by some white veil. I didn't know that was necessary to open the "Be more than you can be door".
I achieved
ending G in the end.
Didn't know how to free the
heart in the basement on the second island to enter another realm.
Don't want to play it again to find out how different endings look like.
I must say it was the most difficult Thief fan mission I ever played. And I played so far more than 200 of them.

That is a great compliment and a great achievement. :thumb:
