Be warned, though: I do not intend to provide a walkthrough for the game, nor for any part of it.
Sorry.. no questions anymore :erg:

I have a very specific question. I'm putting the whole thing in spoilers.
On level 3 of the prison is a dead end corridor with a statue facing the back wall of its niche. Next to it is a metal plate that looks like a door. I have spent a LOT of time trying to find a way to open it. All I want to know is: am I wasting my time here? I do not want to read this thread too closely for the answer because I don't want too many hints that might spoil the experience.
I am playing on expert, and so far the only thing I actually searched for help on was the Warden's safe. I am not too upset about that because I realized that I would not have figured that out on my own ( my mind just doesn't work that specific way).
When I have finally finished I will gush with praise. Right now all I wish to say is that this is the greatest mission I have ever played, and I have been playing since the beginning. The meticulous care and skill with which this is crafted and its extreme originality and depth are just part of what makes me say this.

metal plate when I was here before.

(goes to check it out)
Nope, that one did not register in my mind either. I probably just saw them as
metal beams reinforcing the walls, I did not see that they didn't go all the way up to the ceiling. This mission is friggin' dark, you know.

Nothing hinges on it – it doesn't have any.Quote:

Ah. Hmmm.
If it isn't, it ought to be.
