Could you tell me how to edit the savegame, please?
What do you want to do?

I can make it frobbable by editing the savegame. I just didn't know if there was something I needed to do.
EDIT: I made the Foreseer frobbable. Objective ticked off.
I want to make the Foreseer frobable, please.

First, make a backup of your savegame.
1. Open up the mission in Dromed. Should be miss20.mis.
2. In the box in Dromed's lower right corner, type the following: edit_load_game saves\quick.sav (This is assuming, you're editing the quick save.)
3. Hit F3 and type in 1616.
4. Hit F6. Scroll to the bottom and click on FrobInert.
5. Press the Delete button on the right. Click OK.
6. In the box, type this command: edit_save_game saves\quick.sav
Close Dromed. Now, when you enter the game, you'll see From Editor at the bottom of the Load Game list. This is your edited quick save.

Thanks for the guidelines. :D
But I can't seem to get it to work.
I've never done any work in Dromed before.
When I try to open the game (miss20.mis) it says it can't find gamesys file tce.gam and asks to browse for it. I reply Yes and finds it in the same folder???
Then I press Open and a lot of errors shows up in the other box - failed load model & out of object ref???
I tried doing the edit instructions you have given, but no From Editor save shows up???
Am I an idiot, or... ? :p

Dromed, miss20.mis and tce.gam must all be in the same directory. If you're using DarkLoader, that's the T2 folder. If you're using FMSel, then it will be installed in a sub-directory. So, once you locate miss20.mis, Dromed is going to say it cannot find the gamesys file (tce.gam). Manually locate it wherever it is. Once you click on it, it should load up without any errors.
If not, email me your savegame, and I'll do it for you. (/saves/quick.sav)

qolelis,
Thank you for your hard work.
But I didn't get as great an experience as hoped for.
This mission is just too complex in my opinion.
Normally I got an great sense of direction, but I lost it many times playing this mission.
I had never managed to complete it without extensive help from this forum.
Ricebug had to fix my savegame, so the Foreseer got frobable. Big Bug!
And I never completed some of the optional objectives.
You warned us, I know, but never the less.
I had some great moments playing this, but the frustration is the thing I'll remember the most. Sorry.

Any news regarding the endings R and Y?
As it is now 4 months after release it should be time for some spoilers I think. It would be also interesting to know what to do with Tricksters Breath the Thick rags and the Putty Knife. Never could find a use for them and it seems I am not the only one...
PMs would also be welcome :)
Thank ya!

Couldn't agree more. Ricebug's (
http://www.ttlg.com/forums/showthread.php?t=146123) Christmas Present answers the two remaining endings question (NB: the only way to figure them out from the mission itself is to read - not the readables, but the author's mind...), but the purpose of those items still remains a mystery.
My "yet to do" list is even longer. For example,
how to "sabotage vital equipment"? Where's the machinery(?) to be wrecked with the metal rod? Also,
how to get the bonus objectives "Borin's worst fear..." and "Jim won't bother the kitchen maid"?The author must have an exceptional mind, and like others of his kind, he probably assumed everybody else to be the same...

I`m playing totally for about 8 Hours!!!....I can`t remember playing a Thief-FM that was so hard....so i give up, hopefully there will be a walkthrough released someday.
On the other hand, it`s still a challenge.
Don`t get me wrong, i liked it.
Since the beginning of Thief, i make notes of everything i`m running in true, doors that won`t open, special places, random notes.......everything, when i played this FM for 8 hours i got 4 A4 paper size written full, and i just can get it completed....:(
But my congrats on the author, this is THE hardest FM thats ever been released :ebil::ebil:

Ricebug has published a walkthrough. There's a link to it in the post immediately above yours, post #508.
