Couldn't anybody - except Urgrue, who however won't tell - sabotage the "vital equipment"? If somebody could, I'd appreciate a guide (or a PM, if it still has to remain strictly confidential). I know what to use, but not the location...:(

You have to put (throw) a pole in the gear down in the works on the second isle plus destroy both antennas if I am right...

I never could find a pole, and I looked for days. Did a search through Dromed, analyzing every "pole" object and archetype. Nada.

Let me help you out: it's the middle metal rod of your prison cell at the very beginning, the one you cut down with the file hidden in the bread... for the first time I also threw it away as a useless junk:rolleyes:.

I've already tried destroying both antennas with fire arrows, but the resulting new antenna repair kits suggested to me that it was the wrong place :confused: And - which "works"? there are gears in more than one place, but none react to the pole...

Edit: got it at last! It's under the crematory and behind a generator. Nothing highlights... just threw it at the inactive gears, and after a few trials it suddenly snapped in place. Then it's enough to blow up one antenna above:)

I was just going to respond, when I got to thinking about this. There's an element in Dromed which takes you to that generator, but I could never figure out their purpose. Now I know.

You have to frob the jail bar door a few times, then the pole will go into your inventory. Because you wiggled it back and forth until it came out.

Isn't the pole already in your inventory (it's called "metal rod") among the many obscure items like Trickster's breath, thick rugs, putty knife, etc.?

And a question: doesn't Dromed help finding out the solutions of (http://www.ttlg.com/forums/showthread.php?t=146123) those 2 bonus objectives?

Dromed shows a lot of things, but qolelis was very precise in how he wanted things to unravel. I chased so many "rabbit trails" that it drove me nuts trying to figure out what he did.

The gardener speaks of it in his diary, but I never saw one. If you look at the screenies in the walkthrough, anyway. Also, go into the game via Dromed and press Shift-Q so you can fly around the island. (Shift-P drops you back to earth). If you find it lemme know.
