The gardener speaks of it in his diary, but I never saw one
Isn't it just
the open South terrace with the scarecrow (and vegetables in the soil) under the gardener's attic room, near the top of the SW staircase? It can't be a designated secret after having found
all 14, but of course I may be wrong...
@Florian: do you also know
what are the Trickster's breath, the putty knife, the thick rugs (and the rotten food) for?

Sabotage failed
This mission drives me nuts. I've just tried repeating this "sabotage" process from another hard save - the objective showing, of course - and this time it did not work. The pole snapped in place, plus I destroyed both antennas - nothing, nada, rien. Does it have yet another prerequisite???

I managed to throw the Metal Rod into the generator's gear, but nothing happens. The antenna is still upright. Are we talking about the extremely tall antenna, or something less obvious?
Also, why does Garrett have an Antenna Repair Kit if he's supposed to sabotage the antenna array???

That was my first thought as well - but following Florian's advice (#512) this turned out to be the solution. At least once - but when I tried to repeat exactly the same procedure from another hard save it did not work - ?
And yes,
they are the top antennas on (1) the lighthouse, and (2) on the 2nd island high metal tower. I used fire arrows to blow them up. To add to the confusion: you not only have an antenna repair kit (from the lighthouse store), but you receive further copies each time you destroy one...:confused:

I'm still confused. If you blow up the antennae with fire arrows, what is the purpose of the metal rod?

You have to do both:
put the metal rod into the gears, then blow up the antennas. At least that's what Florian suggested and it did work for me once...
Actually,
for the first time the objective checked after placing the "pole" and blowing up the high antenna - but the next time neither did.

I believe I answered that in my walkthrough.
