Can’t say I play much Thief nowadays but I do remember this FM! It’s great to see it finally released, great work everyone! Would’ve been a tragedy if it never got released. I’m a big admirer of Asylum’s work IMO one of the best out there. I think I’ve just found a reason dig out T2 again. Just wondering if this version includes the 2nd level with the libraries and the beautifully constructed dome…I hope so. It was a very good FM when I played it ages ago…I’m betting it’s even better now! Just got to try and get T2 back up and working again with XP :nono:

You've got the second part to this  AsyluM has been missing for a while now. I've asked him for part two more than once but he seems to have lost all intrest in thief :( The plan is sometime in the future to just build a whole new sequal (by someone else). Do you think you could find him and ask for part two if you dont have it anymore  Please :cheeky: I would love to see it.

Great to see that you're still around, RiCh! You shouldn't have any problems getting Thief II to run on your XP. Just install it with the 'setup -lgntforce' command, and it should be ok. Check out the FAQ for tips to get the videos working -- they do initially, but may fail later. There's a nice batch-file that you can use for re-registering the codecs.
'Heist Society' is a great mission! I had a heck of a good time playing it! It's a great mansion (I love mansion missions), has a good gameplay, the story is interesting, it looks great, there are secrets -- the works! :thumb: It really would've been a shame had this mission remained unfinished. Thanks to AsyluM and the Gold Team! Outstanding work.
To RiCh (and everyone else) I just have to say that 'The Art of Thievery' and 'A Smuggler's Request' are two missions that I remember with special fondness. The former is the ultimate Ghosting level in a fabulous, huge mansion, a mission that is simply perfect. The latter offers so much to explore, and every time I thought "Ok, this is it. I've seen the extent of it.", I found a new great area to explore. Some of my best taffing memories are of the Smuggler's Request. What a mission!
Honestly, these two missions are classics. Any of you taffers not having played them yet, put them on your short list. I mean it.
RiCh, you sure we couldn't press you into building a new mission?? ;) :thumb:

Really great mission!
I didn't find
Lord's diary
on Expert and finally used DromEd to locate
hidden lock, switch and secret room
. Are there any hints in mission?
Also are there any hints for
particular security panels which control gem collection protection? I simply switched off all security control panels and grabbed gems but anyway had a risk to trigger alarm if I miss some security room.
EXCELLENT mission: perfect architecture (absolutly real feeling) - the beautiful color glass windows in chapel (full color from one side, viewable from other side); wood construction above main pool; and many others. GREAT WORK !!! :thumb:
Very well balanced difficulty even in expert. I am usually frustrated not to able to end missions and I should search forum for help. This is not this case. Great work of betatesters. :thumb:
I am a "very late" FM player. I had started with FM 2 years ago and I was chasing main group every time. Nowadays I finally overtake the field. :p
I should say I am fascinating so many FM developers keep their work. It appears at least one new FM every week. Where the hell are you getting time to work ??? It is not easy to get time to only play FMs. But developing...
Somehow please keep your fantastic work. I firmly hope we'll get TDS editor in near future...

Great to see you, RiCh! I second all the praise for AoT and Smuggler's Request.
And speaking of unfinished missions...

Actually guys, I think youv'e got the wrong Rich :laff: The one your thinking of is the one by the screen name Rich E. Dont know what the E stands for because his name was Richard Cull.
Who knows, maybe I'm wrong
Edit:
Oops  I just checked his profile for his Email Address and its the same Rich :p His new screen name confused me.
Hey  Maybe we can use one of your abandoned missions for the sequal

Heck, I have it, the enticingly titled "Bleugh" mission. The text file within the zip says:
Lo Rich, good luck walking around this mess, dont trip up :).
I had completely forgotten about it. Perhaps if interest develops around the sequel someone can make use of it.
BTW, Heist Society devs, check your forum for more info.
