I just checked, and sure enough, I got the basement confused with the 2nd floor. I'm in the process of going back through the old walkthrus I did and improving, correcting, and otherwise fixing them up.
IIRC, Heist Society still holds the honor of having the most keys in a mission. Many of them are tied to the AI, which the player can't see. It seems there was another FM with a boatload of keys, but it slips my mind.

Maybe Errand Boy? There are tons of keys for safe deposit boxes to find along with ones for houses.
You're welcome, Maga. If you're stuck on the evidence, have a look in the lord's bedroom. :)

Thank you Linda, but I don't think it's there on hard...... :( and neither where the statues are on the first floor......
Ricebug, your work on the walkthrus is huge, thank you so much!!!! :)

Errand Boy: 28 keys
Heist Society: 28 keys

Yes, it should be there, Maga. I played through on Hard yesterday. I think it was just sitting on the fireplace mantle, not hidden. As for the statues, do you mean the one with the lock shown in the walkthrough pictures? That is only there on Expert. On Hard, there are 4 secrets.

Linda, it was so kind of you to go through the fm for me, but maybe it's a bug for me........I'm in the lord's bedroom on the highest floor now, and there is no proof on any of the 2 fireplaces.......oh well........... :(

I'm sorry!:o I wrote it down incorrectly in my notes. I just went and checked and it's on the mantle of the upstairs fireplace in the private library.

Here's a
(http://www.bogadocious.com/thief/walks/Heist.zip) corrected copy of the hints sheet.
This mission deserves a better effort as far as a walkthrough/hint sheet. So, I'm gonna buckle down and give it the ol' college try.
As stated earlier, many of the older missions need key lists, graphics, how to trigger and complete bonus objectives, and so forth. So I will try and standardize them in the way of the last two volumes. (12 & 13) When I began this gargantuan effort I really didn't have a clear idea of the formatting, contents, etc. Now that I do, I'll go back and fix them up.
Thief has been around a long time, and I believe it will be around for many more years. Thus, it deserves Top Drawer treatment.
